RECYCLING

Motion For Life, Michelin - Recycling 15s - USA

BETTER MOBILITY MEANS MORE SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS

Michelin has always been committed to reducing tire waste by crafting products that maintain high performance up until their legal limit, but now we’re going a step further: producing long-lasting tires with more sustainable materials. We’re bringing together partners from a range of industries and combining our expertise in high-tech materials to commit to making all tire components ultimately sustainable.

Disruptive innovations in bio-sourced and regenerated materials will allow Michelin to transform everyday waste (corn stover, waste wood, food containers, plastic packaging, plastic bottles…) into new tires, among other new products.

And by 2030, Michelin’s goal is to have used up to 13.5 million tons of these materials to manufacture our tires*.

MICHELIN IS INVESTING IN RECYCLING TO REPURPOSE WASTE INTO TIRES.
