We only have 17K miles on the set we put on our SRX but there isn't visible wear. They aren't cheap but it's my wife's car and you can't put a price on safety.

I had a recent instance ...
I had a recent instance in which a vehicle pulled directly in front of me while I was traveling at approximately 40 mph. I had almost no stopping room and jammed the brake pedal to the floor. The vehicle's anti-lock brakes worked well, and the Michelin tires did not slide at all, and I was able to stop inches short of hitting the other car. I am very thankful for the road-gripping ability of these tires.
