Horrible Ride
Great grip but at ~1,000 miles (now over 3,000) they started riding randomly bumpy. I've now had them rebalanced twice and they are spot on. IT's like they are going out of round while riding. Pressure, temp, road surface doesn't seem to matter and for one stretch it's like riding on glass. Then with no other change the bumping starts which ranges from mild to very annoying except when it does it in corners and then it feels dangerous. Absolutely DO NOT recommend.

By Far, the most cutting edge Tire of the decade!
The Commander III's are so amazing! Where do i begin? It is the most advanced, revolutionary designed tire since the commander 2 was first released. I have currently made 3 trips from Los Angeles, to Las Vegas as well as commuting around town, totaling up around 5,300 miles! The best part is they still have plenty of tread life left, looking brand spanking new! They definitely beat the Dunlop Elite 4 by a landslide, with unmatched precision and control on the road. I recommend to every Motorcycle rider alive!

Outstanding Tire
Traction and handling were as advertised. I definitely love the way these tires handle. No more rear tire slippage when down shifting. No more side slippage on front tire when turning. Great tire and worth the price

Tried many, these are my fave.
I ride a 1981 fxwg shovelhead Harley Davidson that I formed into my dream ride over 25 years. I have gone thru many tires, always trying different brands. I have had these Mchelin Commander III Cruiser on front and back now for 6 months and feel they are the best tires I have owned.

Great ride
They ride , look great and if they last as long as the Commander ll that will be another bonus.

Great Cruiser Tire
The tires ride nice and quiet. They provide good grip and inspire confidence. The tread pattern definitely looks awesome too.

Great tire so far
I’ve run PR4s and PR5s on my sport touring bike and picked up a project cruiser and have had great luck with Michelin tires in the past. They have always handled great in the dry and wet and have given long life. 10k+ out of the past 3 sets I’ve owned. I have about 2k on the Commander III with some of every style of riding. Highway, wet, canyons, hard pack dirt and they have done excellent. Hopefully they last close to 10k

Limb numbing vibration
Tires perform well in the corners ,however when riding 55-60 mph tires make bike vibrate something awesome. Makes my hands numb . Mechanic verified twice the balance was correct.

Best Tires I've Used
I was waiting for my stock tires (Dunlop Elite 3) on my 2016 Indian Chief Darkhorse to wear down so I could get a set of Michelin Commander II's. I ended up getting a flat rear tire and was excited to get a new set. I had the Commander II's on my old bike and loved them, they were my favorite tires so far. When I went to order them, I saw that Michelin just released the Commander III's. After comparing specs between the two I went with the new 3's. I could not be happier with my decision. Both sets have great road feel and handle wet conditions with ease, but somehow Michelin was able to improve their already awesome tires in just about every way. I can't speak about the longevity of the Commander III series since I only have about 1,000 miles on them, but they look pretty new still. I got over 9,000 miles on the Commander II set before I sold that bike. So if they're anything like that, I will be happy. Pros: Awesome road feel Great grip in bad weather Smooth and easy to hold a line on curves Looks are subjective, but I love the way these look on my bike Cons: The sportbike like aspects of the tires (not knobby at all) aren't the best when riding on gravel

Great tires for my FXDC
I put these on my FXDC and have really enjoyed them. On somewhat rough county roads they still give a secure but smooth ride.
