Review Summary

The tires provided a smooth, quiet ride with good grip in wet and snowy conditions for many customers. However, some reported issues with premature wear, poor winter traction, and a harsh, noisy ride at higher speeds. Customers had mixed opinions on the tires' overall performance and lifespan.

I recommend this tire

Good tires

This is the second time I have used the Primacy Tour A/S on my car. They are quiet, comfortable, and stable. They hold air pressure quite well. They are not very durable. The set I replaced lasted 30 K miles, even though they are rated for 45 K miles.

Tires were worn out at 30,000 miles

These tires are trash. I should have had another year or two on these tires at minimum, but they’re worn down to replacement levels at only 30,000 miles. I’m never buying Michelin’s again. Too expensive and they don’t last.

Worn out at half the rating

These 4 tires were worn out after 28,500 miles and were rated for 55000.I would not recommend these tires.I use to only buy Michelin but will rethink my options. Not very happy.

Great tire for BMW

Although Michelin's website notes the Primacy Tour A/S won't fit on my 2017 BMW 440 xi, the exact sizes [225/40R19 and 255/35R19] I require were available. ?? My local Michelin dealer wasn't familiar with these tires, and had to special order them for me. The good news is I received fresh 2020 manufacture DOT codes. After just a month, I'm delighted with the new tores, as they are quiet, stick well on wet roads...and even light snow! Michelin even makes the sidewalls with rim protectors to avoid curb damage. I couldn't be happier.

Imppressed

I bought these as a replacement for my Michelin Premier tires that were original equipment on my RX. The OEM tires were out of stock in Michelin or Bridgestone. I searched for weeks before I found these Tour A/S. I was not impressed with the OEM tires. They lasted only 30K not the 60K they advertised. The rolling resistance of these Tour A/S is incredible and I expect they will outperform and out last the the OEM tires on my Lexus.

Don't last and they don't want to honor warranty

These tires do not last. I am now having to buy another set of tires when I should have had 18,000 more miles (another year). The OE Michelins were great on my Ford Explorer. I replaced them with these tires and they are worn out. The treadwear is nice and even though down to 1/32. Now I get to fight to get a decent prorate for the warranty. I was told by the tire dealer that Michelin has changed the compounds to be more in line with other manufacturers. I paid for Michelin because I expect them to be superior not lower quality like others.

these tires Over deliver

Michelin is known for premium. These tires are no exception. Replaced on my 2019 compass from continental. Way better. Quieter, just feel safer. Handling is far greater.

Superb

2019 Lincoln Nautilus, had a factory Continental tire where the foam insert separated from the inside of the tire causing imbalance. had them rebalanced once not knowing what was happening, within 200km's of rebalance it bunched up in a different place causing imbalance again. Tire shop removed and this is where we saw the problem. Promptly ordered new Primacy tires. What a completely different driving experience, handling, comfort, quiet are absolutely superb with this tire, there is no equal. On every vehicle I own once factory tires are worn I always replace with Michelin. There is no substitute!!!

Feel great

I replaced the original 225/55/19 tires ( Toyo ) at 27,000 miles on 2018 Mazda CX-5 because they were too noisy and their grip was not to my liking. These Primacy Tour A/S are a nice improvement in quietness and handling. The reason I did not give 5 stars is the cross section looks thinner than what I had before, and that bugs me. Also there seems to be a slight tracking of rain grouves on the freeway...not sure yet...but they seem to require more correction to keep going straight. To me they are a very likable tire, but a return for Bridgestones is possible. I have 30 days to decide per Costco policy.

Primacy tour a/s

hi , so on my 2013 accord exl v6 my old michelin primacy mxv4 was a very rough and you can feel the road way too much , and I switch for the premier a/s but this tire was a little better but not as comfortable so I finally spoke to michelin and the recommended the primacy tour a/s and this is an excellent tire across the board its smooth, quiet and in wet conditions they preformed at a 10 , i would advise anyone to skip all the other tires i have mentioned and just get the primacy tour as you will not regret it ,and also its available on suv and full size sadan and I got them installed at pep boys but Costco is better because they come with more warranty
