Quality Tire
The tires create less road noise then some of the other tires and seem to give you a good smooth ride along with the quality and getting around in the snow. I would recommend them.

Michelin is and always has been the best tires by far
Very good tires beautiful ride very quiet and very smooth, my issue is the 80 dollar gift card crap, just give the rebate right then and there during the purchase, not this ridiculous process of getting a gift care. That would steer my toward another manufacture.

Very Happy
We've bee very happy with our Michelin tires. We've had sleet and snow this winter and the tires have performed well. Comfortable ride with no noise issues.

Quiet
The vehicle rides smoother, and the tires are quieter.

Durability problem
Being a lifelong Michigan resident, I've never been afraid to drive in poor weather conditions and I've never given much thought to my tires - until the last month when I had two blowouts on tires on a new BMW x1 with less than 3,000 miles on them. This is my second X1, and I never had an issue with the tires on my 2017 (a different tire brand). Seems like there must be a durability problem with this tire. Over the years I've periodically hit potholes and needed a realignment, but I've never blown a tire, and certainly not two within a month.
We’re sorry to hear you experienced that with your Primacy Tour A/S tires. We understand how frustrating this must be, especially with such low mileage. An agent from our Consumer Care team will be in contact. You can also give us a call at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Great in dry/summer - impossible in any other weather.
On my 2024 GV80 3.5 AWD - These tires are excellent in the dry. Are quiet, comfortable and are the OE for this car. tires have 20k and a fair amount of tread left . Driving in MN and FL. Typically all seasons like this are fine. In the wet they are the scariest tire i've used in 40+ years of driving all types of vehicles in all kinds of weather. ANY slippery surface, light/heavy snow, rain, icy, the tramlining above 30 mph has made me change roads and trips. Car seems to be fighting itself from all 4 corners. glad i checked this site as i was going into the dealer to check tire options. traction control/snow mode/diff lock - nothing made difference.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad they’ve performed well in dry conditions, but we’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve had on slippery roads. We recommend visiting a local tire dealer for a full inspection to confirm proper installation and alignment, as these and other factors can significantly affect tire performance. Feel free to give our Consumer Care team a call to discuss further. Our number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Cannot give a review since we only had tires installed today. Driving home, the noise seemed much less Time is needed to give a good answer.

Midwest Driver - Do Not Buy No Matter What
Purchased a BMW X3 M40i that came with brand new Michelin Primacy tires about a month ago. The tires were fair at first when roads were dry. For city driving and main roads, the tires were pretty quiet and comfortable, and maneuvered quite easily on tight turns. On the highway, however, there was noticeable tramlining (by far the worst I’ve had in vehicle) to the point that it felt moderately unsafe driving 75-80 mph (even when lowering the pressure a couple PSI, the tramlining was still fairly frequent and pronounced). However, now that the snow and ice has come upon Michigan, these tires quickly went from unpredictable to downright unsafe. A lot of these roads I’ve been driving my entire life in a variety of vehicles in icy and snowy conditions, and these tires have by a long shot performed the absolute worst of any tire I’ve ever used. Even driving well below the speed of traffic, the vehicle will start swaying at even a small patch of ice. I’ve started avoiding stretches of roads and changed driving routes for no reason other than the fact that these tires have no grip whatsoever the second ice is involved. (Snow performance isn’t great either, but for the most part bearable). I ended up canceling a business trip to Detroit next week solely because I do not trust these tires to make it that far, despite the fact that they are only a month old. Now I totally understand that these are all-season tires and not winter tires (or all weathers for that matter) but even compared to other all seasons I’ve used (which haven’t been great in ice and snow either), these tires take the prize as being the worst. To make matters worse, the dealer I bought my vehicle from who put these on lives out of state, so even though I’m within the 60 day return window, there’s no possible way I can make it to the original shop that installed them. Which makes this stink even more because I’m about to get rid of 1,400 bucks of nearly brand-new tires. But honestly, the only thing worse than that would be to crash my vehicle because it starts fishtailing going 40 mph on the highway while being passed by a Toyota Corolla. If you live in the Midwest, don’t buy these. Ever.

Excellent tires
Quiet smooth and great handling. Snow and sleet traction is excellent.

Terrible, dangerous tires
Do not buy these tires. Last winter I noticed my SRX seemed to be having a hard time on the snow and ice. My tires only has about 28,000 miles on them so I thought maybe it was just my vehicle that didn’t do well in the snow/ice. I never thought to have my tires checked since they are rated for 55,000! It’s wi ter again I can barely get going on the so n does not handle well at all. Tires have 38,000 miles on. Took to the mechanic and he said I need new tires already! Absolutely ridiculous for what I paid and the fact that they are supposed to go to 55,000 miles. I can’t afford this. I used to trust Michelin. I wish I would have read reviews. They should be recalled.
