Review Summary

Reviewers are sharply divided, with most reporting premature tread wear and dangerous failures—tires reaching unsafe levels at 8,000 to 25,000 miles despite warranty promises, with blowouts and sidewall ruptures at highway speeds raising serious safety concerns. Many customers express betrayal, stating Michelin's reputation has declined and vowing not to repurchase. However, some praise the quiet, smooth, comfortable ride quality, particularly on OEM installations. Overall, durability issues and safety anxieties dominate customer sentiment, overshadowing positive driving experience feedback.

Foam Insert Separated From My Primacy AS TO on my 2025 Tesla M3.

2025 Tesla M3 with ~ 16.5K miles. The cylindric foam insert supposedly glued to the inside of the tire to reduce sound, fully separated. The foam rolled into a ball causing significant shuttering at 70-75 MPH. I went to Big O tires for balancing thinking that would resolve the problem. Unfortunately, no. Back to Big O. This time they removed the tire discovering the foam no longer attached to the tire. Who knew tires had foam inserts? Tires handle well but don't think I'll repurchase these Michelin's. First time I've experienced any issues with Michelin's.

Thank you for sharing. We are sorry to hear you experienced this issue. Some tires, particularly those designed for electric vehicles, include an internal foam insert to help reduce road noise. We recommend continuing to work with your dealer, and they can contact us directly if additional support is needed. If you would like to speak with us, please contact our Consumer Care team at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Wear schedule.

45k on these tires and starting to feel rough. Good tires through the first 30k. Wearing seems per the warranty schedule. Would look at buying again, though had hoped the Michelin name would hold better throughout the life of the tires. Rotated at appropriate intervals.

We're sorry to hear your tire lost air after driving on gravel and tarmac. A sudden loss of air pressure can occur if the tire or wheel has been damaged by a road hazard. We recommend having the tire inspected by an authorized tire retailer as soon as possible to determine the cause. Once the inspection is complete, please contact our Consumer Care team at 866-866-6605 (Mon-Fri 8 AM-7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM-1 PM EST) and we'd be happy to review the findings with you.

Great EV Tires

Great tires. These came with my new Ford Mustang Mach-E back in 2022. It's been almost four years now. I have put over 75,000 miles on this, and still have some thread left
