Review Summary
The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the tires. Some customers report positive experiences with good tread life, handling, and overall performance. However, a significant number express dissatisfaction, citing poor tread life and premature wear, as well as issues with traction, handling, and sidewall durability. While a few customers had great all-around performance, the negative reviews appear to outweigh the positive ones, suggesting these tires may not be a reliable choice, especially for trucks and SUVs.

Not good for grooved pavement
Primacy 265/65-18's came on a new Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 . All was good until first time on grooved pavement when it started rocking side to side with less than 500 miles on the vehicle I thought something was wrong with the truck this was not the case! As soon as vehicle left the grooved pavement handling returned to normal.

Poor Tread Life
I purchased a brand new off the trailer 2022 Kia Telluride EX in March 2022, which had these tires installed OEM. The tires rode just fine, but I only made it to 30K miles before the treads have worn down requiring replacement. I am not looking forward to replacing these so soon and may be looking for another brand.

Blew out on new car after 6k miles, defective sidewall
Bought a brand new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in September 2023. My wife put about 6k miles on the car, and this back right tire blew out while she was driving on the highway. Never any off-roading. No impact to cause the blowout. Clearly a defective sidewall. Very disappointed, and this defect could have killed my pregnant wife were it not for her quick reflexes to pull over immediately.

Long lasting, and very quiet
These tires came on my 2022 Silverado 1500 when I bought it brand new. 40,000 miles so far and they’re very quiet and have a lot of tread life remaining.

Flats are getting expensive
OEM tire on my two month old Nissan Frontier. I have fewer than 600 miles on them and already have had two punctures. First was after one week of ownership. Due to where the screw was the dealer said it wasn't repairable so I had to buy a new tire. Found a screw in another tire today. Location of this screw will probably require buying another new tire. It's just bad luck as to where the screws hit. But these sure seem to puncture easily.
We can only imagine how frustrated you are. Our team is here and ready to help. Please contact us at 866-866-6605 8am-5pm EST so we can gather additional details and offer any possible assistance.

55k and still plenty of performance left!
I bought my 2020 Chevy crew cab new in Oct 2019 and the OEM tires were the Primacy LTX. I have lived in Houston, Philadelphia, and now North Carolina. I have 55k miles on these tires and no complaints. I have moved myself several times and I do a lot of DYI which both have required a lot of towing of large trailers. With 45k miles on these tires they still saved our life one day and met the ultimate challenge. While cruising the interstate down a large grade towing a fully loaded 12’ trailer an18 wheeler suddenly cut us off in the passing lane and hit the breaks. I moved to the right lane sped up to avoid traffic behind me now near the bottom of the grade a when another 18 wheeler began to pull slowly off the shoulder into our lane. I stood on the breaks because trucks were on my left and vehicles behind me moved to the shoulder cutting off all options to avoid a violent and possibly fatal collision. The tires performed admirably and allowed me to control our skid and they bit the pavement hard enough to stop us short of that truck. I have nothing but praise for these tires and with winter coming soon I am looking for another set to replace them.

Poor tread life
Tread life not realized on truck direct from factory. 29700 miles.

So far, tires are fantastic and show no adverse conditions
We bought a new 2023 Dodge Durango and these tires came with the vehicle. Since we bought this vehicle six months ago, we have driven 3500 miles with no complaints. Given that we live in Florida, these tires have held up well despite driving on hot roads, about 125°F, with sand, and in rain. The gas mileage is higher than what the EPA estimate and the breaking distance is shorter than we expected. Treat shows no sign of wear on any tire.

2 tires replaced after 12,000 miles
This tire came on my 2023 Nissan Frontier 4x4. So far at 12,000 mi I have replaced 2 of the tires due to holes in the sidewall, one just below the tread. If this tire isn’t designed for off road use, why put it on a vehicle designed for off road use. Are nice highway tires.

Inferior tread life
My 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee had only 35,000 easy hwy miles on Michelin Premier LTX all weather 265/60R18 tires and the tread was so low they needed replacement. So much for a 55,000 mile warranty. The only saving grace for giving a 2 star was their quite ride. And yes, the tires were balanced, properly inflated, aligned and rotated religiously. No off-road and no towing. After contacting Michelin come to find out their warranty is a joke, a scam if you will. They said they will give me 30% credit on the "MSRP retail value". That would have cost me $290 more than if I went and purchased them privately. Used to respect Michelin, but Falken Wildpeak is the new leader.
