Review Summary
The Michelin Premier LTX tires offer excellent ride quality, handling, and traction, especially in wet and snowy conditions. However, many customers report premature tread wear, often well before the advertised 60,000-mile warranty. Some had to replace the tires as early as 30,000-40,000 miles. Customers also noted issues with the warranty support, as the company was unwilling to fully honor the warranty when the tires wore out early. While the performance benefits are notable, the poor tread life and warranty concerns are significant drawbacks to consider.

Terrible - last 1/4 of the milage they claim
This tires are awful. I had them exactly a year before I they were almost bald. I put maybe 15,000 miles on the car and these are supposed to be 50,000-60,000.
We certainly understand your frustration and are here to help! Our records indicate a member of our Consumer Care team has reached out to you via email. Please have your dealer call us with the inspection results at 866-524-2835 between 8am and 5pm EST, Monday through Friday.

Good start, durability missing
The tires are shredding after 37,000 miles on a 60,000 mile warranty. There are chucks of rubber coming out of the tread in the outer edges. It really appears unsafe and is not something I have ever seen in 45 years of driving dozens of cars.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. A member of our Consumer Care team will be contacting you. You may also reach our office at 866-524-2835 8am-5pm EST Mon-Fri.

Awesome tires!
I bought 4 tires to replace the tires on a recently purchased vehicle. I am impressed by the performance of the tires during a road trip. We drove through an hour of hard driving rain. No hydro-planing or instability through standing water. Awesome tires!

Great performance.
It provides good traction in all weather conditions. I have noticed good wearing and grips on roads. However, one tire is out of force a lot of times.

Bad Tread Life
The ride is good but the tread wear isn't. My next set will be the Defender 2. Also, I'm going with a wider and taller tire.

Purchased new Lexus RX 350 2021. I do not drive very much and dealership recommended new tires. The Michelin Premier LTX only had 29,000 miles. Very dissatisfied with these Michelin. New tires were purchased as I had to get car inspection. Recommendations were to use Premier LTX. A 60,000 mile tire getting less than 30,000 is not acceptable. The Michelin Company should make adjustments to the consumer.

Tread gone, Very disappointed
Michelin Premier LTX tires were rotated every oil change and wore very evenly. The problem is, I’m at the wear bars at 27,000 miles. This is a 60,000 mile tire. Not even going to fuss/argue/beg Michelin, WON’T be buying any more Michelins. Yes, very disappointed in what is suppose to be THE most well respected tire manufacturer in the world.

LOW TREAD LIFE, PRORATE WARRANTY NOT HONORED by the dealer, Gault Toyota in Endicott NY.
LOW TREAD LIFE, PRORATE WARRANTY NOT HONORED by the dealer, Gault Toyota in Endicott NY. This tire actually performed well enough, but it only lasted about 30K. Our Gault Toyota maintenance rep said they would not prorate the tire. We bought a brand-new Highlander in 2022 with these tires on it, but the rep said new cars from Gault Toyota are installed with softer tires on them and Gault would not honor the 60k mile warranty these tires are supposed to have. I know dealers have these kinds of shady deals with tire manufactures, but this is the first time a dealer would not honor the tire warranty for me. The last new car I bought from Miller Honda (Vestal NY) had Bridgestone's that wore out fast too, but they honored the tire warranty and prorate a new set at a decent price, unlike Gaults overpriced non-prorated offer.

Low tread
These tires are already going bald and are at 4/32 tread wear with only 15k miles on them. What am I supposed to do? They were brand new at the dealership with my car because it was CPO.
