Review Summary

The Michelin Premier LTX tires offer excellent ride quality, handling, and traction, especially in wet and snowy conditions. However, many customers report premature tread wear, often well before the advertised 60,000-mile warranty. Some had to replace the tires as early as 30,000-40,000 miles. Customers also noted issues with the warranty support, as the company was unwilling to fully honor the warranty when the tires wore out early. While the performance benefits are notable, the poor tread life and warranty concerns are significant drawbacks to consider.

Very very poor quality

Poorest quality ever I drive less than 12000 miles and the tread on my tires is down to 5 or 6/32.

DO NOT recommend these tires under no circumstances

Purchased these tires from Costco! Been doing rotations through Costco religiously, every 5000-6000 miles, they also been balancing them every tire rotation, tried to take care of them as good as it gets, however, they will not uphold Michelins claims for 60,000 mile thread warranty, I barely scratched the surface of 40,000 and Costco tire center told me today that front tires are at 2/32 and rear are a little bit better, basically front two must be changed immediately as winter coming and they are not safe to drive. They ride fine and not noisy but in this day and age and current economy it’s not a wise investment when tire don’t hold thread, there is no value in investing in this tire, and u spent over $1100 for a set of 4. I’m very disappointed with Michelin, you pay the premium price and yet they don't last.

Nice tire, but they don't last

The Lexus dealer told me I needed new tires after only 24,000 miles on this 60,000 mile tire. Ride was comfortable, and they performed well in the snow, but these tires don't last.

TOO SOFT; DO NOT LAST; WILL NOT UPHOLD TREAD WARRANTY

THESE TIRES HAVE A 60,000-MILE TREAD WARRANTY, BUT MY LEXUS RX350 WITH 83,000 MILES NEEDS A THIRD SET ALREADY. I HAVE COMPLETED ALL ALIGNMENTS, ROATATIONS AND BALANCES AS RECOMMENDED. TRIED TO FILE A CLAIM WITH MICHELIN, AND THEY ARE OFFERING 20% TOWARDS NEW TIRES. TOLD THE REP I COULD DRIVE THEM FOR 10,000 MORE MILES AND THEN THEY WOULD COVER UP TO 40%, BUT THEY ALL MEASURE AT 444. NOT SAFE TO DRIVE FOR ANOTHER YEAR. ILL BE BUYING A GOODYEAR SET INSTEAD! DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE TIRES!

Rebate Processor is Not Competent

This rating is not on the tires which I live, but in the rebate processing company which processes the Michelin rebates. I filed for my rebate back in April and am still awaiting my rebate. I have spent 4 months talking to them and with each “7-10 days” explanation I receive I seem to be waiting another “7-10 days” and not 10 days later I am still waiting and their phone number is not connecting today (Saturday). The first card I never received in my e-mail which started this whole charade. I believe the company has an internal theft problem based on all my conversations with them and am at my wits end. I have spent way too much time attempting to get a $60 rebate and Michelin should be ashamed of this incompetent and deceiving vendor.

Would recommend

Very pleased with the performance and look of the tires. Went on a 10 day road trip through the Maritimes and the tires got us there and back in smooth quiet comfort! Tire wear was a concern when investing this tire pre-purchase but so far doesn’t seem to be an issue as the tires have held up very well thus far.

Abnormal wear

First time I’ve ever had tires just fall apart in chunks out of the tread area. Tires came on a pre-owned Highlander Hybrid. Michelin tires have been my go to for years these do not live up to the standard. Good fuel economy but zero traction in mud and abnormal wear stated above mean I cannot recommend

Limited lifespan

These tires are being replaced at 37k miles VS the 60k they claim to last. Rotations every 10k miles for the life of the tire. Will not buy again.

Scary road handling

My 2020 Lexus RX350 held the road with my Michelin MXV4s. This new tire makes me feel like I am not hugging the road!

Tires Good; Rebate a Problem

Love the tires, but still have not received my Rebate through your 3rd party processor. They say they e-mailed to me, but I definitely never received it. I think someone at the rebate processor used the majority of the balance because I know that It was never e-mailed to me,
