Review Summary
The Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 tires provide excellent grip and traction in both dry and wet conditions, delivering a confident and secure driving experience. They offer a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride with impressive handling and cornering capabilities, making them well-suited for sporty and high-performance vehicles. While most reviewers noted good durability and long tread life, a few mentioned faster-than-expected wear on the rear tires.

Great Handling Low noise
Went from 17 inch To 18 Inch, huge jump in performance (both wet and dry) from the tires Ford put on my 2015 Mustang eco-boost. People told me the road noise would be an issue but quite the opposite. Black car, wheels, tires. Sorry, can't figure out how to transfer pic. from my phone (LG)

New Pilot Sport All Season 4
I bought these tires in April when I swapped out my winter tires. I now have over 6000 miles with no issues. Smooth ride and handles well in the dry and wet.

Do NOT purchase these tires!
I bought these tires through Costco. They are supposed to last about 45,000 miles. Today my tire popped while I was driving to work. I did the math, these tires only had 19,753 miles on them. Not even HALFWAY. Also, FYI, Costco doesn't want to give me the warranty on these tires. This whole experience has been awful.

They look great
I bough this set few weeks ago and they look great and they handle good too

Fantastic for daily driving and medium track use.
Got these not too long ago and they're a great daily tire. Quiet and very comfortable for a performance tire, my car is lowered too. I got these to replace my AS/3s since those were so good. The tire has excellent dry grip and very good wet grip. I haven't had a chance to test snow grip yet, but if the AS/3 was anything to go by, I am not worried about it one bit. I just had a chance to take the car to the track and the tires were great there as well. I never felt like the tires were going to let me go off track unless I wanted to, and I was full tilt out there. Managed to pass up a 350Z in my 200hp Acura and didn't get caught by the Focus RS or the Roush Mustang. That was a very twisty course where grip was key, and it never let me down. The tires lost a little grip after some very hard laps on a hot track, but I doubt any other all season would do better being pushed like that. They would have been fine after half a slow lap, and the brakes were cooking worse than the tires by that point.

2016 BMW 750i xdrive
Just upgraded from run flat p zero and I instantly felt the diff in ride and very pleased with these tires so far and mine r very quiet. Will update if anything changes but my first impression I couldn’t be more pleased Worth the wait on getting these because of all the back orders going on

Forced to buy 2 Pilot Sport All Season 4s
I had to replace a Pilot Sport A/S 3+ with 6,000 miles (Screw in the edge of tread) - but since Michelin discontinued the Sport A/S 3s, Discount Tire had to replace it with Sport A/S 4, and since the Tread Pattern is so different, I also had to replace the other rear tire with a new Sport A/S 4 so my Chevy Camaro would ride and drive correctly, this cost me $350 for the new Sport A/S 4. Not happy at all with Michelin's business practices - they discontinue a tire and leave you hang if you have to replace it.
TP, we certainly understand your frustration, especially since the tires only had 6k on them. We would like to get more info so we can try to work something out. A member of our Consumer Care Team will be reaching out to you. Meanwhile, you can contact us at 866-866-6605 for assistance.

Track-level grip for Daily Drivers
Had to replace the tires on my 2018 Civic Sport and I can’t believe the difference. I previously had some “high-performance” Falken tires that weren’t bad but after a couple days with the Michelin Sport A/S 4s I finally understand. This is the first Michelin performance tire I have ever driven on and my car is a completely different machine on these tires. The level of grip is superior to any tire I have ever had, even in the rain. My car feels like it is floating until I cut the wheel and suddenly it becomes glued to the blacktop. I am a very aggressive driver and understand the value of having tires you can trust on your car and I love these tires!!!

road noise
I just had these tires placed on my Audi S6. The road noise is at all speeds. Extremely disturbing and very frustrating. I've used Michelin tires for years.
Thanks for the review, Bob 23. We are sorry you experienced excessive noise with the tires on your Audi. I see that you have been in contact with our Consumer Care team. Should you need further assistance, you may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

FEW VEHICLE NAMES!
Too many reports not indicating what vehicle the tires are mounted on! What good is such info? I have a new set of 245/4018 going on our 2019 RS 3, which has run 16,698 fast back roads out of a total 23,192 on current Michelin A/S3+ with no issues at all. Will report on the Pilot Sport 4S after some mileage is run at speed.
