Lasted only 43K of mostly highway miles
For a tire that had a 70K warranty, the durability of these tires was extremely disappointing. They wore down to 4/32 after only 43K of mostly highway miles. The newer version of this tire, the Defender LTX M/S has supposedly been improved, so hopefully the durability will be better. In any case, I will not be purchasing another set.

best tire for highway and country
Dumped the cheap OEM at 10k miles on my Tundra. I Alway bought Michelin's all my life and now I know why. Best tire for highway and 5 miles of gravel each day (with farm work). Smooth on the highway with great gas millage. Stay off muddy trails and fields. Thats what ATV's are far.
Terrible on snow
We had the previous version on my Lexus GX460, needed a new set, and replaced them with the same. The previous set is pretty good on snow and ice as you’d expect from a M/S rated tire. The ones we purchased in 2019 have been awful. We slipped all over the road tonight after just 3-4 inches of snow and will have to replace these with a dedicated snow tire for the winter. The combination of the GX and these tires should sufficient in light snow, but something has changed with this tire and we are really disappointed. I just wish we could take them back to Costco.

Great choice as always!
I just an f-150 2020 special edition sport. And these tires came with them. Super stoked and had great grip when braking. Looking forward to driving it for many miles to come.

Great ride and Quiet
I replaced the original tires on my 2015 after 2 sidewalls were destroyed by road debris. The LTX M/S2 tires are way quieter and ride noticeably better. The tires they replaced hydroplaned to a small degree, the Michelins feel more steady in heavy rain. The size tires I had installed are 245/75/17. The truck now feels a bit different on the road and I couldn't be happier. No more road noise whine!!

Quiet
Putting my third set of these tires on my 2010 Toyota Tundra SR5 crew max with 210,000 miles plus. Couldn't be happier with both truck and TIRES. Just shopping price now.

Replaced my Goodyear Wranglers
Was scheduled to replace tires today on my Sierra crew cab & couldn’t have picked a better day. Picked the Defender and while it’s only been one day can say the difference is incredible. I can tell a huge difference just driving in the lot, had to think if I was driving the same truck. Incredibly quite on the way home less roar, very smith more like riding in air with a firm grip. My only concern was speeding it always seemed as I was traveling 10 MPH less then I realy was.

Great tires, but not lasting 70000..
Got a set of wheels with LT275/65 r18 m/s2 on them for my f350. Lasted about 3 years and ruffly 18000. Rather disappointing.

Buying new tire at 40535 miles.
These tires came on my 2018 Ford F 350 daully. I'm buying new tires this week. My only complaint is the mileage. I don't tow with this, just my daily driver.

Less than 7000 miles and a tiny rock popped the ture!
My Dad bought his 2020 Ford F-150 less than 7000 miles and a small tiny rock popped his tire. He is an elderly man and it scares me that these tires are bot safe.
