Review Summary

The tires provide good fuel efficiency, smooth and quiet ride, and reliable handling in dry and wet conditions. However, some customers report premature tire wear and issues with noise and winter traction. The tires may be a good value for fuel-efficient driving, but may not be suitable for those who prioritize long tread life or winter performance.

started out wonderful, now sucks to be me

The tire was very quiet on the highway and city driving, my tires have 29,000 miles as OEM and started showing signs of chunking recently. NOT going to make 30,000 miles. tires rotated on regular basis with oil changes. not happy premature failing. All 4 tires show the same failure, Nitrogen filled by dealership, I drive 8 miles total per day and the car is parked at work for 8hrs and then home for the rest of the time. no daily high speed driving. 4 trips since I've bough the car in Feb 2023 with 7,000 miles with OEM tires that are now failing.

We’re sorry to hear that your Energy Saver All Season tires are showing signs of premature wear. Tread wear and tire condition can be influenced by several factors, including vehicle setup, road conditions and alignment and an in‑person inspection is the best way to determine what’s happening. We recommend visiting an authorized Michelin dealer to have the tires evaluated. Once the dealer provides the inspection results, Our Consumer Care team would be happy to review your situation and discuss next steps. Our contact number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Junk

Not happy with the tires. I have 4300 miles on my Bolt and I am having issues as many other consumers. These tires are not good in water and I live in Seattle. makes a bumping noise and I feel a thud like a rock is stuck in the tread. Had them checked and no rock. Going to spend my money on the cross Climate 2 tires and hope to remedy these junk tires.

Johnny, no doubt that is frustrating. We'd suggest that you take your vehicle to an authorized Michelin retailer for an inspection of the tires. Please ask the retailer to call us at 866-866-6605 while you are there.

WORST TIRE I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!

This is the absolute worse tire I have ever bought! It did not last 50K miles and the tread is completely worn down to replacement level in less than 2 years. I put this on my 2015 Mustang in September 2021 and I am now forced to replace this tire in January 2023. I don't do burn-out, spin tires or anything else crazy. If you drive more than 10 miles per day, DO NOT BUY THIS TIRE!!!!

Holly, this tire has a limited mileage warranty. You should get credit based on the mileage received. You or your retailer are welcomed to give us a call with any questions. We can be reached at 866-866-6605.

Great tire

We like this brand. The Energy Saver A/S is Michelin North America's most fuel-efficient All-Season Passenger car tire developed for the drivers of hybrid and fuel-efficient.

4 years of good service. No complaints. Wearing evenly, good ride on a '19 Camry. Will likely buy again. I run snow tires in the winter, so can't rate for winter use.

4 years of good service. No complaints.

Worn out at 26000 miles

I Had the tires for 26000 miles, one tire I had for about 20000 miles and they all need to be replaced already. I will be contacting Michelin to see if they will honor their warranty because these should last at least 60000 miles. Plus these tires fetch a premium price over other longer lasting tires.

Poor quality. Doesn’t last long

Very poor tires. Didn’t last long. These were OEM tires on my Honda clarity. At 25k miles itself it showed sign to change. But I decided to still use it , now at 33k these are totally gone. Wasn’t expecting this much from these tires. My car is 4 years old.

Disappointed in the the wear of the tires

These tires came with my brand new 2023 Chevrolet bolt EUV, I was told these are 60,000 mile tires and I just turned over 36,000 and I am being told my tires need to be replaced. They are in the yellow zone for safety! For a 60,000 mile tire that is supposed to be specifically for my car this type of performance is very disappointing. Let me finish my saying, we are a Michelin family, have them on my truck, GMC, terrain, and this bolt EUV, but this has not performed well in my opinion.

I recommend this tire

66k miles highly recommend tires.

My 2019 bolt came with these tires and just reached 66k miles. Still has tread left but wear indicators are leveled with the treads, so time to change them. I drove from Louisiana to Arizona a couple of times. Tires felt very good during this trip. I did have one issue with the self sealing where there was a large screw that punctured the tire and continued to have a slow leak that eventually turn into a fast leak. Can't use a pitch on the tire due to the self sealing adhesive on the inside. But I did use a plug on the tire and still had a slow leak, finally used a can of SLIME sealant. It stop the leak and been driving on it for a few thousand miles. Great tire. Highly recommend it.

Unfixable. Unhappy.

2023 Chevy Bolt EUV - Tires came with vehicle from dealer. 24,000km on vehicle, only 6 months use on tires because we use winter tires for 6 months. Have picked up a tack that won’t seal and dealer says is unfixable. VERY expensive tires to replace at this rate of replacement. Will have to look elsewhere for new tires.
