Review Summary

The tires provide good fuel efficiency, smooth and quiet ride, and reliable handling in dry and wet conditions. However, some customers report premature tire wear and issues with noise and winter traction. The tires may be a good value for fuel-efficient driving, but may not be suitable for those who prioritize long tread life or winter performance.

started out wonderful, now sucks to be me

The tire was very quiet on the highway and city driving, my tires have 29,000 miles as OEM and started showing signs of chunking recently. NOT going to make 30,000 miles. tires rotated on regular basis with oil changes. not happy premature failing. All 4 tires show the same failure, Nitrogen filled by dealership, I drive 8 miles total per day and the car is parked at work for 8hrs and then home for the rest of the time. no daily high speed driving. 4 trips since I've bough the car in Feb 2023 with 7,000 miles with OEM tires that are now failing.

We’re sorry to hear that your Energy Saver All Season tires are showing signs of premature wear. Tread wear and tire condition can be influenced by several factors, including vehicle setup, road conditions and alignment and an in‑person inspection is the best way to determine what’s happening. We recommend visiting an authorized Michelin dealer to have the tires evaluated. Once the dealer provides the inspection results, Our Consumer Care team would be happy to review your situation and discuss next steps. Our contact number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Customer service is a joke

Since when do you expect retailers to keep records of when something is not covered under the "warranty"? Since you want to know, Pep Boys in Pomona told me that these tires keep having the same problems with slow leaks developing near the sidewall. Less Schwab Tire in Ontario, CA told me that Michelin won't cover it and they can't be repaired. Michelin's replies are all the same, no record of not doing anything about it. Of course you don't have a record! You didn't do anything!

Poor quality, mysterious slow leaks

These came with my new car, and they are without a doubt the least reliable tires I've ever had. Within 22,000 miles, two tires developed irreparable damage too close to the sidewalk to repair. The issue showed up as a slow leak with no visible signs of damage. One distributor, who said Michelin wouldn't cover it under warranty, told me that this is a common and inexplicable problem. When these remaining tires have reached the end of their usefulness, I will replace them with another brand and never buy Michelin again.

Just don't

I've had two sets of these tires now, the first that came on my car when I bought it and the second when I had to get the first replaced. The first set lasted about 30k miles and the second about 40k miles. considering they are rated for 65k they are a little off. Based on all the other reviews where it seems like no one gets close to 65k miles i'm almost wondering if there is a lawsuit that should be going on. Michelin has lost me as a customer

Drew, sorry to read that your tires had to be replaced prior to delivering the expected mileage. The tires have a limited mileage warranty and you should get credit based on the mileage received. The credit would apply to any Michelin tire of your choice that is suitable for your application.

Poor Tires

I have only driven 30K and the tires are bolded now whereas Michelin says 60k

Haque, sorry to read this. If these are replacement tires, they have a mileage warranty. We'd suggest taking the vehicle to an authorized Michelin retailer for an inspection and to initiate a mileage claim. Have the dealer call us at 888-871-4444 while you are there.

2021 Camry LE all wheel drive

These are the factory tires on our car. Currently has 24,000 on them I might make it through the summer. I asked the dealership aren't these wearing extremely fast? They said they haven't had a set go past 35,000 yet and there is no warranty because they are OEM tires. We purchased this used at the dealership with 12,000 miles on it one owner they had done all the work on it during the previous owner's ownership.

Wear rating half but why?

These tires came OEM on my Chevy Bolt, I need new tires after 37000 miles. I did not rotate the tires and the front tires have no tread on them and the rear tires are just above the wear markers. I know electric cars are heaver than gas powered cars but I don't know what the wear difference is. It would be nice for Michelin to have the wear differences between the two types of vehicles. That being said I will try another brand and see if I get the same results.

They don't last!

These tires came on my 2022 Toyota Camry LE AWD, and I now have 23,000 miles on the car. The tread is just about done. Not even close to the 65,000 warranty. I drive conservatively to get better gas mileage. I can get over 40 mpg so they are good at efficiency and do well in all weather conditions. However, unless you are rich and can afford new tires every 25,000 miles I would not recommend these tires.

Purchase date: 01/28/22

Camry LE AWD, sorry to read that your tires are nearing replacement. We'd suggest that you take the vehicle to an authorized Michelin retailer for an inspection of the tires. Ask the dealer to call us with their findings while you are there. We can be reached at 866-866-6605.

No OEM warranty support

These came installed on my brand new bolt euv. They were fine until they weren't. Treadwear is fine. Problem is by 30000 miles the belts in the tire have broken. To find out there is ZERO warranty on tires installed by the factory. Neither Michelin or the dealer will do anything but sell you 4 more.

Terrible tires.

I've driven on Michelin for decades and always had great mileage These came on the vehicle when purchased new 2018 Ford Escape. Junk. 26,000 miles (I only drive about 5,000 miles a year) tread almost gone, cracks all over the sidewalls. Always inflated and always rotated every oil change (I still change every 6 months) Very disappointed. Getting new tires in the next wee or two. Won't be Michelin.

Rick, we'd like to have the tires inspected by an authorized retailer for warranty consideration, particularly due to the cracking. Please have the dealer call us at 866-866-6605 with their findings while you are there at the store.
