Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great OEM Replacement My 2016 Nissan Altima came with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires. After 50,000 miles it was time for new tires. My local tire shop recommended the Premier A/S. I bought a set and took off for a Thanksgiving road trip. I drove 3000 miles through snow, freezing rain, ice and dry roads. These tires performed better than I had expected. I highly recommend these tires.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed I had to replace all 4 of my Michelin Premier A/S tires today due to poor treadwear. They had only 29,000 miles on them!! The tire installer said although the rear tires showed a little tread left on them, they also showed signs of dry rot. The front tires had little to no wear left on them. They were installed June 27, 2015 when the car had a little over 53k miles on it and now it has 82k on it and I am advised to replace them.I had them rotated faithfully by the dealer. I replaced them today (waiting for the call to pick up the car) with a set of new Michelin Premier A/S and I am sorry I didn't buy a different brand. The installer suggested 3 brands of tires including Cooper tires. I should have gone with those but it's too late now since they are already being installed. These new Michelin's will most likely also disappoint me again in longevity and wear. In addition, I was advised I could get a $70.00 Black Friday promotional rebate for buying 4 new Michelin tires. Now I find I am ineligible for that too. What a disappointment all the way around. You would think with all of these reviews indicating the same treadwear issue, Michelin would correct it but from reading past reviews, they ignore the issue. Wish I had read these reviews before buying an entire new set of Michelin's. Had I done that, I wouldn't have purchased them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tires I've Owned I own a 2009 Acura TSX and I just purchased my second set of Premier A/S. I rotated and balanced the first set of tires every 7000 miles (religiously) aligned my car every 15,000 miles and they lasted me 93,401 miles (4 years and 6 months Best tires ever

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short Treadlife. Great tires. The tires performed great on wet surfaces and surprisingly well in fairly light snow. The problem however comes with the short treadlife. I've got about 20,000 miles on them and am down to 3/32 in the front and about 4/32 in the rear. Definitely would not recommend based on how quickly the wear.
