Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TIRES..HANDLES THE ROAD IN BAD WEATHER I placed 4 new Michelin Tires on my 4Runner in 2012. I just changed them this year. Because of the Covid, I had a hard time getting them and put a brand that compares. The tread was barely worn. I drive between 15,000-30,000 miles a year. I live in Baltimore and these tires, Michelin, never failed me in the snow or rain. I never got stuck in mud. Well, I am putting Michelins on my Corolla. Toyota only had 4 of my tire size left and I have to move quickly because of the Covid. I don't care what the cost is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An all around great tire I just purchased my second set for my 2011 Sonata. I put 70K on my first set and still had plenty of tread left. My garage rotated every other oil change and that, I think, is the secret to getting the best results. I could not be more satisfied. I run Defenders on my Silverado and have experienced similar satisfaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premier AS 92H on 2013 Subaru Legacy Can't say enough good things about this tire, living in Southern California. Put them on My Legacy with 86k in August of 2017, now I'm at 140k in October 2020 looking at replacement tires (but still have a little ways to go, just getting a jump on it) and will have no reservations about putting these on again. I've had 0 issues with them except for a nail I picked up which was repaired. I've only had to check a tire low low pressure once outside of the nail incident. These tires are rock solid, don't hesitate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not have a long tread life I bought the tires in Jan 2019. After about 1.5 years and 23,000 miles (haven't even drove much in 2020 due to covid-19), most of which residential non highway miles the tires have worn to 3/32 and now need to be replaced. l live in Illinois where we experience all four seasons. The tires have lost their grip in the rain when accelerating from a complete stop, have even experienced it in dry weather conditions, so these tires do not do well when near the end of the tread life. Michelin's warranty on the tires is on a pro rata basis so long that you meet the requirements. So you would get a discount of the new tires in proportion to what percentage of the tires "life" has passed and you must get the equivalent tire for replacement. Unfortunately their warranty offer for my tires that only got a little more than 1/3 their life expectancy was $60 off a $179 tire (thats just for the tire itself), so I would have to pay more than 50% of the cost and to risk this happening all over again with the new set of tires. There are better tires out there at this price point. I will say however, that when the tires had a good amount of tread they did do their job well, a little loud on the road but mostly a smoothly ride.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Solid handling; very noisy tire Replaced my original Bridgestone tires with 4xPremier AS at Costco. The OEM tires were very quiet but only lasted just under 40k miles, with noticeable wet handling issues towards the end.. The new Premiers are rock solid when it comes to handling, but the level of whining noise they make is something I have never experienced with even much cheaper brands on any of the cars in our household over the past 25+ years.
