When and how to change motorcycle tires?

‎Replace your motorcycle tires when tread reaches the wear indicator, when any structural damage is found (sidewall bulge, cord exposure, cuts through the casing), or when 10 years have passed from the manufacture date on the DOT code, regardless of remaining tread depth. After 5 years of use, Michelin recommends annual professional inspection even if tread looks fine: rubber degrades from ozone, heat, and UV exposure in ways not visible from the outside.
