Review Summary
Customers overwhelmingly praise these tires for smooth, quiet rides and exceptional handling in wet and dry conditions, with many reporting strong traction, confident braking, and reliable all-season performance. Most describe superior steering response and improved comfort compared to previous tires, with high loyalty and repeat purchase intent. However, a notable group reports premature tread wear, needing replacement at 15,000–30,000 miles rather than expected durability. Despite this durability concern, most customers consider the ride quality and safety performance worth the investment.

Primacy Tires need replacing in 29k miles
Don't believe mileage warranty on Michelin Primacy tires. All 4 Michelin Primacy tires installed in March '24 on 2015 Ford Explorer XLT are worn down and need replaced after 29k miles as of October '26. Regular tire rotations were performed and all tires show ever wear across the groove pattern, but are just worn down to the tread wear indicator bars. Overall Traction, ride comfort, and noise were average at best.

Catastrophic Failure of Primacy MXM4 245/40R/19 Dot batch B91C03UX 0924
Catastrophic failure at 28k. Both side walls cracked all the way around. Tires are on a 2021 Cadillac CT5 550t. Driving 70 mph over sunshine skyway bridge and the entire tire except the sidewalls which were still attached to the rim left the car into traffic. It was the right rear. Had it been one of the front tires , we would have wrecked. Replaced the tires with a different brand. The other 3 tires were all cracked severely on the inside also. This tire should be recalled. Fairly new line of tires , so , many more failures are out there. Cadillac dealership who put the tires on the car with a warranty we paid for are declining to help. Said we got 28k miles out of the tires even though they told us they were 60k mile tires. There was no low tire pressure sensor light on. Once the tire flung off the car , the sensor came on saying there was no pressure. With the other 3 tires all having severe cracking on the interior, it was not just a one off event.

Smooth and Quiet
Tires ride smooth and quiet. I don't have a heavy foot on the brake and haven't put a great deal of mileage on them, so everything's great.

Best overall tires available on the market
Great tires, the only brand I have used on my 2 cars, a Jaguar and a Lincoln. They are the best all weather tires. Traction and wear are excellent.

Comfort and quality
These all season MXM4 tires are great. I ordered these for my Nissan Altima 2019 because I’ve had various types of off brand tires and they have not lasted a year without an issue such as flat tire. I’ve gotten these tires early 2025 and it’s been over a year and over 20,000 miles driven with these (all 4 tires still intact). Rain or shine and I’ve ran into my share of potholes. These have been the best performing tires for me and comfort level is superb on these as well. Will forever re purchase. Worth it!!! A+++++++++++

very good tires.
Purchased 4 new tires on 04/23/2026, but you sent tires made in 43/2024..( re: DOT) That means the tires are almost two years old.

Very disappointed
I bought my Tesla Model 3 in 2023 equipped with these tires (MICHELIN Primacy MXM4). The first year, everything was fine. Then, the problems started. The car lacks stability on the road and, regardless of the incline, it pulls strongly to the left or right. At first, I thought I had a steering problem. I went to Tesla, where they checked everything. They replaced two suspension arms that appeared worn and adjusted the steering. Apart from that, nothing seemed out of the ordinary; the car was in perfect condition. I left Tesla, but the problem persisted. Furthermore, the tires seem to have worn out quickly, even though I've only driven 35,000 km (70,000 km warranty). It's worth noting that with my Michelin X-Ice Snow tires, which I use for winter, the car is stable and performs perfectly. I am very disappointed with these tires.

OK but didn't last the warranted period.
Tires only lasted 35,000 of 55,000 warranted miles.
David, we’re sorry to hear you experienced rapid tire wear. While actual tread life can vary based on driving conditions, maintenance and vehicle alignment, we understand how disappointing this can be. We recommend visiting an authorized tire retailer for an inspection, then contacting our Consumer Care team with the results at 866‑866‑6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).
