Great performance tires
The Pilot Super Sports are great tires. The handling and breaking with them has been great. I actually felt an improvement with my car going to them over the stock PS2s that came on it. They're also quieter which is nice. I'd rather listen to my engine note than the road. :) My only complaint on them is wear. I'm burning through my rear tires fairly quickly with normal use, no track use. I'm on my 3rd set of rears now with the first 2 sets only getting about 9k miles each. The front tires are still going strong though with about 18k on them. When I just replaced the rears they still had 60% tread. Don't let that scare you off though. They're well worth it if you have a high performance car. The performance, ride, and road noise with them is worth the possible shorter life on the rears and you can probably get better life by rotating. I run staggered, so I can't rotate. I highly recommend them.
Super Sports are a huge improvement
I bought the Pilot Super Sports to replace the stock run flats on my BMW 335i coupe. Huge improvement. I can feel how the car is gripping the road now. I tracked the car with the run flats before moving to the super sports and what an amazing difference. Tires ae a bit quieter as well.
Excellent product for the value
I've had the Michelin PSS on my M3 for approx 8,000 miles. They're a great, solid tire. The cornering and braking capabilities are awesome. Great wear too. Road noise is also very low compared to other tires I've had in the past. I've done one track day with the PSS and they held up really well. Overall very satisfied with the performance and dry traction.
Making the best better
I drive a 997 Carrera with the OEM tire being Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. I switched to the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and wow, the best got better. The Super Sport has the same handling, if not better, with a longer tread life. I participate in autocross and driver's education events with my local Porsche Club and do not feel the need to go back to the PS2.
I would buy this product again.

The Pilot Super Sport is the best tire on the market for a HP vehicle. The handling, acceleration, and braking are superior on my Acura TL.
Excellent tire
The tires are as good as all the pilots this one was suppose to last longer which they have not as sticky but as good and cheaper then the ps2
From OEM Runflats to Pilot Super Sports
I replaced the OEM Run Flats on My 2012 JCW Mini Coupe at the start of summer. All I can say is WOW. The car handled well before, but it could be stiff at times with the run flats. The soft nature of these Super Sports provide for excellent grip, enhanced handling and overall a more comfortable ride. Bumps are softer. Turns are sharper and the wear is fantastic. If you are a spirited driver, these are the tires for you. They are made to perform, and that they do.
Great tire for enthusiasts!
Mounted a set on my 997 when the factory PS2s had gotten a few punctures. These tires feel like they were designed with high performance cars in mind. Grip is great and the ride quality is also very good. I wouldn't hesitate to track these tires and yet I feel totally confident on the road even in the wet.
80,000 miles on my Jeep Wrangler *****
Purchased the tires for my off road Jeep Wrangler & have not regretted it. Still tread, never a flat, and 80,000 miles in the state of Washington (now), but handled the Winters of Minot, ND ... speaks for itself! Thank you Michelin!
