Sublime
Just put these on a Fiat 500 Abarth. My God, they are a revelation. The comfort, road feel and handling is just next level.

Real safe tires

Best tires ever, hands down.
I bought these tires a couple weeks ago and I am very pleased with their performance.

Great tire
It's a great tire, but it doesn't have the same feel as when I was using the Pilot Sport 4. The Pilot Sport 4 has an AA traction rating, while this one has an A rating. The tire wear is fantastic I've fallen in love with it, and the steering response is excellent.

Great, smooth and quiet tire
I had purchased Firestone Firehawk tires and they were very noisy. I replaced them with the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 and they were much quieter and had a very smooth feel on the road! The Firestones were less expensive, but as they say you get what you pay for! I have a Mazda 3 hatchback grand touring model, which is like a sports car. The original tires were Dunlop and they lasted 43,000 miles. I hope to get that much out of these tires!

Great performance at great cost!
I bought these a year ago. The grip was excellent, including two weeks where the early morning temperatures were about -6/-8 C. I expected the grip to be greatly reduced, but they did extremely well. They were quiet and comfortable. The grip continued to be excellent as the temperatures climbed during the summer, as one would expect. I don’t know that I would buy them again because of the cost. They were about $700 more than the competition (roughly) and while I was delighted with their performance, I don’t think they would be worth the cost once these wear out. I thought they wore quite a bit over the summer (20,000 km) but my tire shop thought the wear was appropriate. 5 mm tread remaining. Good for two summers if they wear at the same rate.

Great grip in both wet and dry
I have had these Tyres on for 18months and travelled 36,000Km in my Skoda Superb Sportline 206KW , they have been rotated twice and the current wear indications show that I should hit 60,000 km as they are still showing 4.7mm tread depth.

Better than Pilot Super Sport, Firehawk Indy 500, RE050a, Federal 595 RS-RR, and Continental ExtremeContact Sport for on road!
2019 Fiesta ST 205/40/17 absolutely the best all around summer tire I have out on my car. Better than PSS 205/45/17. Steering response is impeccable, the grip from a dig is better than the 200tw Federal 595 RS-RR. The noise level is leagues better than the next best tire that I tried which was the Firehawk Indy 500. The road feedback is amazing once the steering is loaded up. Fuel economy has gone up a tiny bit from the PSS. Wet and cold grip are the best that I’ve experienced so far. Just all around these tires are the best tires I’ve ever experienced on a road car for someone who enjoys driving dynamics but wants comfort these are the tires.

Awesome!!!
Equipped in a MINI Clubman, 2 months ago, low noise when you drive, excellent grip during drive over fast curves, feels comfortable during city drives

Best High Performance Summer Tire on the Market!
I purchased the new Pilot Sport 5 tires at Costco for my BMW and all I can say is WOW! They were hidden at the bottom of the list in Costcos inventory system and the sales guy didnt even realize these were out yet until I asked for them, he said I was his first customer to order these and he orders hundreds of tires a week at a busy store. Let me say these are night and day different from the OEM Primacy MXM4 ZP run flats that were on my car before. The Pilot Sport 5 improved handling significantly and there is zero slip when accelerating hard. I am able to take corners at high speed more confidently and the steering just feels effortless and more controlled now. One thing I noticed with these tires are that they are sticky and super soft, much more than other tires I have had in the past. This is a huge plus for dry grip handling, and with Michelins 30k mile warranty and improved treadlife I am impressed to say the least. Most soft tires only last 15k miles if that. I think these are better than the Pilot Sport 4S that I have had on a previous BMW, I know that isnt popular opinion on forums but in the real world testing that I have done, I think these are more responsive and stick better to the road, likely due to newer technology incorporated into this tire from Michelin. 5 out of 5 stars, I dont know how Michelin does it with every new generation of tire but these are going to be hard to top.
