These are OK winter tires for my RWD Jaguar F-Type but grip isn the snow isn't what I was hoping for.

Good for the price
I needed to change my car tires. All of them. And so far this one's work pretty good. There's no more unbalancing or bumping feeling while I drive . It's pretty safety.

Do not buy
I would not recommend. I had a set on my Porsche and the rears lasted me only 15,300 kms, so durability is a serious issue. Will not be purchasing again. I’ve trusted Michelin for years but this is just unacceptable.

Great value
I've been using the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 tires this winter, and they've truly exceeded my expectations. The grip on snow and icy roads is impressive - I feel completely in control even in tough conditions. The handling remains smooth and responsive, whether I'm driving through slush, rain, or dry pavement. What really stands out is the balance between performance and comfort. The ride stays quiet and stable, which is a bonus for longer trips. Plus, the tread wear seems minimal so far, which gives me confidence they'll last multiple seasons. If you're looking for reliable, high-performance winter tires, these are worth every penny. Michelin nailed it with this one!

These tires perform well overall, with excellent braking and forward traction. However, the grip on snow while turning is noticeably lacking. They are a bit pricey, and I believe there are better value-for-money options out there—but until I find them, these will do the job.

I highly recommend this tire for Model 3s. If you’re a 3 owner looking to size up, this tire has worked really well for me so far. I came from the PA4s, the 5s are more quiet, handling is great on my RWD car. The size up will impact range but I’ve maybe seen an increase of 5-15Wh/km. Increasing the size has improved the ride as well. The car soaks up potholes with a bit more grace. It’s not going to make up for the stiff suspension though. The extra thickness has saved my wheels from minor curb rash (if you hit the curb hard enough, tires will not do much to protect your wheel). All of this^ coupled with the ridiculous value (paid ~$1300). I’d any day recommend these to OEM fitment.

Snow good grip for a front wheel drive car Stopping is excellent It's changed the characteristics of the car but that's to be expected of winter tyres Handling is softer because of the 50 profile but can still be placed into a corner better bite no understeer I have found the car to be a bit bouncy in sport setting DCC but again they are winter tyres overall very happy better than the Divanti wintoura tyres, new rubber always feels good.

These are winter tires and the first time I used them on snowy roads I was not impressed with the traction they provided.

These tires are performing as I hoped they would. While being rated a full-on winter tire I am running them year-round. They are excellent not just in snow and ice, but also during the hot summers here and in the rain. They are also quieter than I expected. I think they are a great tire and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, or whatever the Michelin upgrade tire happens to be at that time.
