These are by far the worst new tires I’ve experienced in 50 years of driving. After replacing the original Michelin Energy Saver tires on my 2018 Chevrolet Volt, I immediately noticed irregular up-and-down bouncing at low speeds and side-to-side swaying at freeway speeds. The car felt as though it were being buffeted by wind, even though the day was calm. The next day, I returned to the Discount Tire location where the tires had been installed. The staff reported no balance problems or obvious defects.

I purchased the tires yesterday and have experienced a noticeable difference from the OEM tires. The ride is smooth and the cabin is very quiet. The handling, braking, and traction are more than sufficient. These tires will serve me will in our Michigan winters.
Quiet and good efficiency. Very disappointed in ride quality. Every tiny road imperfection is transmitted through the wheel. The car rides worse on these than the stock tires to the point that I will be replacing them after a few thousand miles.

I recently swapped my factory tires for the Michelin E.Primacy and immediately noticed a smoother, more comfortable ride. Having used Michelin’s CrossClimate 2s for California winters due to their M+S rating, I was impressed that the E.Primacy is noticeably quieter while still delivering excellent grip and efficiency. The reduction in overall road noise makes for an even more refined driving experience. While I can’t yet speak to longevity, my experience with the CrossClimate 2s—which last surprisingly long—suggests the E.Primacy will hold up well over time. If you're looking for a balance of comfort, efficiency, and all-season capability, the Michelin E.Primacy is a solid choice.

Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.
For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.
For speeds over 160mph (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
