Great tires!
Very smooth ride. And really good traction so far after 3 months of service. These are the best tires I have had on my 2016 2500 HD Chevrolet diesel. The only negative so far is when I run on gravel roads the tread can pick up small gravel.

Not Impressed
Ram 2500 Longhorn. 5000 miles on Michigan roads ride is exceptional on dry roads. Snow and ice performance is terrible how this tire met M+S rating is puzzling . For the premium cost I would not purchase again .
Ben, we’re glad to hear the Defender LTX Platinum tires deliver an excellent ride on dry roads, but we’re sorry its snow and ice performance is not meeting expectations. While the M+S rating indicates light snow capability, it doesn't offer the same level of winter traction as a dedicated winter tire. If you’d like to discuss this further, a Michelin Consumer Care Representative would be happy to help at 866‑866‑6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Wear is minimal after 2,000 miles.
Very quiet tire that looks great.

Another high quality Michelin tire
Excellent tires especially under snowy and slick conditions. Tread is more aggressive so I have notice a decrease in mpg but knew this when upgrading to this tire

Best all around tire for onroad/occasional offroad
Stop hesitating & reading reviews like I did, just buy these unless you look to find mud or want to look cool & roar down the interstate. Excellent all around tire, quiet, comfortable, great traction in rain ice, snow, & decent enough at off road, great stability when towing as well running 80 psi in the rear. My biggest concern was winter & off road performance as i live on a farm, so i waited to review. I have had them since this summer & quiet, good in rain & in snow they surprisingly performed better than others i have had even a/t tires. Not the best mud tire but i have a farm & have never been hung up in the field or soft ditches on our narrow road but i don't look for mud as most a/t tires you would drive on the road are minimaly better than regular tires in real mud i have learned by experience. So far showing no wear, I think i have found my go to tire even if i only got half the milage out of them but i think they will wear well. The sidewalls are also nice looking as well, give a little a/t look to an all around tire, tread pattern looks funny but seems to work well. The will pick up rocks & hold on to them but not that big of an issue to me. Firt set did have a shimmy the shop balanced 5 times but still shook at 70+mph but michelin made it right, paid for a new set + mount & balance. Excellent customer support & easy process, never tried to make you feel like the bad guy, were concerned that you didn't like/had problems with their product & wanted to make it right!

XL = Extra Load
>> The sizes shown are average design values for tires measured on specified measuring rim widths. Some tires may vary from this value by +/-3% of the section height (affecting overall diameter), and +/-4% of the section width.
>> Section width varies approximately 0.2" (5mm) for every 0.5" change in rim width.
>> Tread patterns are often tuned to accomodate different tire widths. Tires for a particular dimension of a given tireline may vary in appearance from the tire shown in the photograph.
WARNING: Serious or fatal injury may result from tire failure due to underinflation or overloading. To ensure correct air pressure and vehicle load, refer to vehicle owner's manual or tire information placard on the vehicle. Serious injury or death may result from explosion of tire/rim assembly due to improper mounting. Only tire professionals should mount tires and they should never inflate beyond 40 psi to seat the beads. Before mixing types of tires in any configuration on any vehicle, be sure to check the vehicle owner's manual for its recommendations.
DANGER: Never mount a 15" diameter tire on a 15.5" rim.
DANGER: Never mount a 16" diameter tire on a 16.5" rim.
DANGER: Never mount a 17" diameter tire on a 17.5" rim.
DANGER: Never mount a 19" diameter tire on a 19.5" rim.
DANGER: Never mount a 22" diameter tire on a 22.5" rim.
Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.
For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.
For speeds over 160mph (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
S-Speed Rated Sizes:
| Maximum Speed (mph) | 100 | 106 | 112 |
| Inflation Increase (psi) | 0.0 | 1.0 | 2.0 |
| Load Capacity (% of max.) | 100 | 100 | 100 |
