Michelin user for many years
We have always bought Michelin tires and have always had excellent service with the exception of this last set. Put a new set on 2008 Honda Ridgeline mileage 69,000 and now we took them to be balanced and they tell us htey are f"feathering" coming apart. And that we need a new set of tires, mileage is not 132,000. We are looking to another dealer. but would still recomment Michelin.
Thanks for your feedback Lucy! It's much appreciated.

Smooth ride but not what I hoped for in the snow
Great all around tire, but was sold to me as being great in the snow and ice. I took them out on my 4Runner with 4 wheel drive engaged on a snowy day and found myself having a lot more trouble stoppinng and starting than I would expect for a brand new "snow" tire. Still happy with them as an all season tire, but I would definitely not confuse these with a true snow tire if that's what you need.

Best light truck general purpose tire available
I have had 5+ sets of these on 2 different suburbans, 1) f150 std cab longbox, 1) Chevrolet dually cab-chassis with dump and snow-plow, and now on my '14 Superduty Kingranch. If my continued patronage of this specific tire doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what..I am in Wisconsin, and snow and ice traction are important. These tires are excellent in snow and ice, without quick wear like a winter tire 80k/set. Ride comfort is outstanding. I replaced the Michelin AT tires with these on the superduty, and they are 10 times better for traction and comfort. If you are wondering if these tires are worth the extra money, they absolutely are!
Thanks for the awesome review bigdaddymuy!

What noise??
Not sure what the noise issue is all about! These are super quiet and I'm on 2nd set on my truck. I mean how can they be loud on some and quiet in others....!?!
Thanks for taking the time to submit a review Sean!

Handle great on wet or snowy roads
I bought these tires a few weeks back and they are great Shane was great to deal with will be doing business with him again

Disappointed
I recently bought a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires to replace a set of Michelin Latitude tires that came on my Grand Cherokee. The ride is much rougher with the Defender tires than the Latitude tires. The road noise is also higher with the Defender tires. I am disappointed with the Defender tires.

Loss of Fuel Economy, more road noise
I have been a lifelong Michelin customer. Recently purchased these and my highway fuel economy dropped from 19mpg to around 16.6mpg. I have these tires on a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali which replaced an older set of LTX M/S2 tires that were great. These also have more road noise than the previous model of tire. I've seen reviews that provide the explanation that newer tires are more grippy so i should expect some loss of fuel economy and noise, but this is the first that i have ever experience in a tire from michelin. My previous tire, put them on and all was good, nice and quiet, with the fuel economy that i would expect.
