Good overall tire!
I bought the Michelins to replace the standard continental tires that came on my Mercedes Sprinter 2500. The Michelins have improved traction and ride quality but at a cost of a little more road noise. I expect them to last much longer than the continentals which fell apart at 15000 miles!

Just bought two of the Michelin defender LTX today. Love these tires , like night and day from the Asian tires I had. So very pleased, when I get the money I'm going back for two more.

Defender
These tires are great night and day from my other tires. Live in North East Ohio along the lake. These tires have great snow traction and preform great on wet roads. would get them again and recommend them to friends and family. Got 4 new tires in November 2016

Quiet tire for me
I bought the Defender LTX 265/70R16 for a 2005 Toyota 4Runner to replace the LTX M/S2 that had 72,000 miles. I found the newer Defender LTX quieter than I expected and quieter than the older design LTX M/S2. I was not expecting that from a few of the reviews which indicated noise. All I hear now are wind noise, or engine noise if I accelerate, no tire noise. I am wondering if tire balance or other issues caused some reviewers to experience noise. I tested my new Defender LTX at all speeds up to 70 mph and especially in the 65 - 68 mph range where I typically see a balance issue the most if there is one, and these are well balanced tires.
***UPDATE*** Ulra Disappointed
I had previously mentioned how rough and loud these set of tires are. After going back to the tire store, the mechanic suggested I get my U-joint fixed. The took care of the rough ride and the road noise. These are now the Michelin tires that I have come to expect. I appreciate Michelin customer service responding to me very quickly.

Ultra Disappointed
I bought 3 sets of the previous generation version of these tires and was so happy. I couldn't wait to put the updated version on my Suburban. And then I did. Roughest and loudest tires I have ever owned-and I have had aggressive all-terrain tires on this same SUV. When I get close to 70 mph or faster, these tires are unbelievably loud. For the most expensive (or certainly one of) all-season tires you can buy, this is unacceptable. Thought I would just continue buying the best Michelin tires available every time I needed tires. I think that just changed.

Michelin Makes Great Tires
This is my second set of Michelin LTX tires. I live where it is hot and dry. Other tires have failed due to dry rot in 2 years. Michelin LTX tires have lasted over 5 years before I had to replace them. They are great for my E-350 Ford Van.

Fantasic tire
Bought a set of these tires in October 2016. I now have over 5000 miles on these tires and I can not say enough good things about them. These tires give a great sense of stability on wet or dry roads. The tires are very quiet on all of the road surfaces that I have encountered here in Texas. These tires were a great buy for my Jeep Grand Cherokee!

X Radial LT2
I purchased my LT2s in February 2010. I now 62,000 miles on them. It won't be long before I'll be ready for new tires. I've had such a good experience with the LT2s that intend to buy Defender LTX M/S to replace them. I put Michelin tires on another car I owned and have recommended Michelin to others and all have been very satisfied with their purchase.
