I'm back
I had away bought Michelin M&S for my SUV in the past. I made the mistake of buying Goodyears the previous time to get a "quite" tire. The M&S were somewhat noisy buy end of life. What a big mistake. I almost considered getting a "kidney belt" the ride was terrible. The new Michelin Defenders are quite and smooth. I love them.

What can I say. Smooth ride. Handles great. Grips to the road like it should. This is a must buy.

Excellent set of tires
I installed the MICHELIN® Defender® LTX® M/S tires in my 1999 Land Cruiser a couple of weeks ago. The last set I had was the MICHELIN® LTX® M/S which lasted me 81K miles. I was waiting for these tires for 5 months as Michelin paused production of them. I read all the reviews everywhere and I am glad at the end I decided to continue with the Michelin as I have on my other 2 cars. People complain for noise. I could not hear anything. Yes these tires might not be perfect for snow but they seem to be good on wet surfaces. Coming from old beat up tires you can really tell the difference on the ride.

Awesome Tires
Bought these about a week ago. They replaced my OEM Michelin cross terrian which are no longer made. These LTX tires are awesome nice quiet ride. Super smooth, ust an amazing difference. Absolutely love them so far. Already have been in rain and snow and handled great. Great Purchase!!!

Best summers i have ever owned.
Bought these tires trying to find something durable to run on my f-350. after one rotation and 40,000 km last summer I have 50-60% tread left and great fuel economy. i got noticeably less mileage when i put on my winters. i drive hard in many road conditions and love these tires. I average 1500 km per week and have nothing but good to say about these tires.

Perfect
265 70-R16 on 2012 Nissan Frontier 4x4 Crew Cab. Less rolling resistance, less than 1/2 previous tire noise, perfectly smooth ride, excellent traction, when accelerating, slowing, or turning. Highly recommended. No other companies tires are even close.

Excellent traction, low road noise, good tires.
Needed replacement all season tires. Chose these because I know the brand lasts and the consumer reports rating was high.
Very good tire, but DEEPER TREAD needed for next gen
This has been an excellent tire. The one thing it needs is deeper tread. Michelin, if you are listening, your competitors are offering up to 20/32 inch tread depth and you are at 13.5/32 inch on the LT285/70/17 Defender LTX. If I see another tire with that much more tread depth, there is a good chance I will purchase it. Please, more tread depth to be competitive in the current LT tire market for the next edition of this tire. At least 1/2 inch.
Best tire I have ever bought
Have had these tires on my car since 2008 (180,000 Kim's later ) I can not where them out, normal maintenance and rotation, no flats but starting to crack a little on sides so will have to buy new ones soon. Well worth every cent and great for winter and summer, no need to get winter tires with these.

Installed these on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I had installed these on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee a week ago after running on the factory tires. These are very quiet tires and handle great in wet weather. I like the smooth soft ride these tires give. I am a very happy customer. Thanks Michelin.
