Can't be beat

I love these tires, I've never had any other tire grip like these do. I like the side wall stiffness, but the tire eats and flex well . I wouldn't change one thing about them . They did a great job with these

michelin tire much bigger diameter

so, run maxxis wire DH bead tires and other tires before. One big difference about michelin 34 tires I DO NOT LIKE is the bigger outer diameter of their DH wire bead tires. Yes, 1/2 inch bigger! now we are getting closer to a 29er tire and it effects suspension. If your rear suspension clears your old brand tire when fully compressed by 1/2 inch then you are in trouble. also, front suspension for those who have a high stack forget it because if you lower your lower crown it can buttom out on front tire.

Price of Shit

Hey guys these tires are completely crap for a real DH trail. I took these wheels down to Whistler for some shred across rocky and roots terrain, I found no grip in these prices of expensive rubber, I slid halfway down the trail and ended up tearing the tire right down the middle, to big for any sealant of plug to repair. It does have strong sidewalks though. Marshmallow man needs to think of some better tires.

Grip for Days

Ive been testing different tires over the last 14 years at the bike park on full D.H. rigs this is the best tire yet. grip, you can run low pressure. sidewall is firm, and all knobs crack and tear on D.H. tires sometimes first run so not sure what folks are whinning about, it has to do with super gummy compound, your pressure terrain and riding style...only get if you wanna go fast and shred!

My favorite tire setup

Ive run Maxxis, Vittorias, and Schwalbes. I only bought the Michelin DH34 cause the sidewall paint looks cool but now they're my new favorites. I ride in AZ.. rockslabs, hardpack, loose over hard, and occasionally some dirt at Angelfire Bike Park and these grip corners so well

DH34 Performance

I have had the DH34 for 6 months by now.I am impressed by the casing shield of that tire which saved my rims. It's the soft compound but it still holded me long enough knowing that i used it mostly on hard terrain.Everything that this tire is advertised about is 100% true but a thing that isn't said is that it's bad in mud and because of it's sticky surface alot of mud is collected by the dh34 but when it comes to dry conditions with stones and roots, damn you will outlast all of them ! You throw away all the inner tubes and sealents because that tire is undefeatable , I just feel like if i ride it without sealent it will still hold up(never had a flat tire since day one ). I recommend you to have a dh22 as a front and dh 34 as a back tire. -Hard to install and remove -bad performance in wet conditions (it's not ment for that) -very short tread

Perfect dry condition tire

I had a week to try/test the dh34, so it’s a rather short term review. I had over 10 tires in the front, and this one is the grippiest in dry, along the maxxgrip assegai. In somewhat wet, and loose terrain also can’t beat this tire. I won’t say it’s the best in those conditions, but It shines in dry-bikepark-medium. The rolling speed is also good, besides the strength. It’s almost inpossible to get a flat with this tire.
