Buy them, You Won't Regret - The Best
I own a 2024 Landcruiser and the OEM LXT Trail ties needed replacement. Replaced with the Defender LTX MS/2 and so much better of a tire. So much more stable and controlled ride. The tire is heavier than the LTX Trail and I did see a drop of about 3% in fuel economy - but that is a good trade off for the far superior drive performance.

Peace of Mind
These are the only tires I will run on my truck. The last set went almost 80K. There is definitely a sense of pride when I look at these tires, knowing I made the right choice. As a retired professional driver I take tire safety very seriously. I tow a boat and two RVs and the Defenders give me peace of mind.

VERY DISSAPOINTED
I was first very excited about the Defender LTX M/S2. It was a much smoother ride, quieter tire and better grip. Sadly after approximately three months, I scraped a curb while slowly backing up and the sidewall split. This is a spot I use often so I know the area. I contacted the shop where it was installed (Titan Auto) in Chesterfiled VA. There said there was nothing they could do because it was the sidewall and I did not purchase the tire protection program. And if had I done that, there were no guarantees anyway. This is a very expensive tire and it did not last at all. It is truly dissapointing to see a high-end Michelin tire split on impact.
