Review Summary
Customers overwhelmingly praise these tires for exceptional handling, grip, and smooth, quiet rides in dry and wet conditions. Reviewers consistently describe them as "hugging the road" with "insane amounts of grip," delivering confident high-speed performance and excellent traction in rain. Many highlight the ride as "smooth as glass" with road noise nearly non-existent, noting significant improvement over previous tires. However, some report disappointing tread wear, with tires wearing to 3/32 inches at just 19,000–21,000 miles versus 40,000–55,000 miles from other brands. A few mention isolated issues like balancing problems or insufficient snow traction. Despite these concerns, most customers strongly recommend them for premium performance.

Hard Noisy Ride
I was not told or read anything about this tire for my Corvette Grand Sport being a run flat tire. I found out from the dealer a few days after having the tires installed when I returned to have to lug nuts checked for exact tightness. The tire is very noisy and a hard ride.

Costco is Great for Michelins

Performance at a reasonable price
Great performance tires at a reasonable price. I put a set of these on my 2015 Jetta TSi . Many people might say why put this good a tire on a 'economy' car but they only cost about $50/tire more than most any good M/S tire. The Jetta turbo while not a performance car is agile and punchy. The steering is precise and responsive. These tires move the Jetta up a notch in handling. The Jetta can be fun and these tires add to that. They are also competent enough to handle weather. Not sure about how they wear but I did not buy these for high mileage.

Happy with my purchase

Great tire, terrible treadwear
I had a set of these on my BMW 230i. They worked well as a sporty tire that can be driven year round, but they were done in less than 30k miles. I'd recommend them only for a weekend car that gets driven in all conditions; if it never sees snow, get a summer tire. I replaced them with the same tire only because they were the cheapest option at Costco.
Thanks for your feedback. Glad to hear you liked the performance, but we’re sorry the tread life didn’t meet expectations. Tire life can vary based on driving style, conditions and vehicle setup. We recommend working with your local authorized tire dealer to ensure everything is properly installed and wearing as expected. If you need additional support, feel free to contact our Consumer Care team at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST). We’d be happy to help!

>> The sizes shown are average design values for tires measured on specified measuring rim widths. Some tires may vary from this value by +/-3% of the section height (affecting overall diameter), and +/-4% of the section width.
>> Section width varies approximately 0.2" (5mm) for every 0.5" change in rim width.
>> Tread patterns are often tuned to accomodate different tire widths. Tires for a particular dimension of a given tireline may vary in appearance from the tire shown in the photograph.
WARNING: Serious or fatal injury may result from tire failure due to underinflation or overloading. To ensure correct air pressure and vehicle load, refer to vehicle owner's manual or tire information placard on the vehicle. Serious injury or death may result from explosion of tire/rim assembly due to improper mounting. Only tire professionals should mount tires and they should never inflate beyond 40 psi to seat the beads. Before mixing types of tires in any configuration on any vehicle, be sure to check the vehicle owner's manual for its recommendations.
DANGER: Never mount a 16" diameter tire on a 16.5" rim.
DANGER: Never mount a 17" diameter tire on a 17.5" rim.
Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.
For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.
For speeds over 160mph (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
