Review Summary
Customers overwhelmingly praise these tires for exceptional all-weather traction, remarkable durability exceeding 60,000 to 200,000 miles, and quiet, smooth highway rides. Many report superior grip in wet, snow, and icy conditions with improved braking and cornering confidence. Reviewers consistently highlight long tread life compared to competing brands and note dramatic reductions in road noise. Strong brand loyalty is evident, with many customers repurchasing across multiple vehicle generations. A small subset reports premature wear at 40,000-47,000 miles or balancing issues, though these concerns represent a clear minority against overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Stay away if you drive in pavement!
Have had these tires for 2 weeks and they are absolutely TERRIBLE on wet pavement. My car slid sideways at 25mph. Cannot accelerate normally without spinning tires. Cannot brake without the traction giving out. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had with a tire.

Won’t balance
Truck is shaking with a static balance waiting on appointment to road force so far I’m not impressed for what these cost me let you know how road force goes
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. Vibrations can sometimes be related to balance, so we’re glad you’re planning a road force check. If the issue continues, we recommend working with your dealer for further inspection, and our Consumer Care team is available to assist if needed. Feel free to call us at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

These were the original equipment on my F-150 and got over 90,000 miles on them. They are quiet and good in rain and snow.

Throws a ton of rocks
I have run these tires for almost 10 years. They are decent but they throw a ton of rocks as compared to the ltx on road. They wear a bit faster than the ltx on road version. The at2 on same Vehicle 63k miles ltx 94k miles
Thank you for sharing your long‑term experience with the LTX A/T2 tires. The LTX A/T2’s open all‑terrain tread design is intended to provide added traction off road, which can result in picking up and ejecting small stones on gravel surfaces. This is essential in preventing debris retention and enhance durability. When you’re ready to purchase a new set, our Consumer Care team would be happy to discuss tire options that may better fit your driving needs. Our number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Great Tires
Outstanding traction in snow and super decreased stopping distance on slick roads.

😁
Great tires! This is my second set of replacement tires for my truck and I wouldn’t buy any other tires.Smooth ride and great traction, just a really well made tire.

Best tires for your money
We only buy Michelin tires as we feel they are the best tires on the road unless you want to spend a fortune. On SUV's the handling, ride and comfort of these tires can not be beat. They durability of Michelins are without a doubt the best there is

Traction in winter
Rural driveways are challenging especially in the winter. I need traction on and off the hillside. Snow on top of ice this year locked us in for about a week. Both frigid powder and sloppy melting snow give different gripping issues. At no time did I “sling mud” climbing our back fields.

Will not balance. Good customer service however!
I bought a set of these for my truck in November 2025, instantly vibrating, balanced again, road force balance, still vibrating at highway speeds. Michelin offered a set of new tires same model, same exact problems, road force balance, still terrible. Michelin finally offered to replace with ltx ms2 which have been amazing. But I cannot recommend the at2. They were terrible and wasted a ton of time taking the truck back and forth to diagnose the problem.
We’re sorry to hear about the vibration issues you encountered, but we’re glad our Consumer Care team was able to assist you and that the LTX M/S2 tires are working well for you. We appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback. If you need anything else, feel free to give us a call at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).
