Extremely Comfortable and Quiet

This year, it was time to buy new tires for my Honda CR-V 2018. I researched a lot and came to the idea that Michelin Defender 2 is the best choice. I bought them and I could not believe how fantastic they are. Defender 2 is very quiet and comfortable on both highways and roads. In addition to comfort which was my first priority, they are excellent at handling and maintaining vehicle stability, even compare to the factory-installed tires which were not Michelin. I realized why Michelin is the number 1 brand trie in the world. As a friendly reminder, tire is the most important part of a vehicle and they must be the best. Spend your money wisely, buy Michelin, and enjoy your everyday ride. I never go with any other brands. I highly recommend Defender 2. Rest assured you will never regret your purchase.

Great tires!

Great ride quality, traction, and handling, poor milage

I have had two sets of Defenders, and three sets of Primacy's. None lasted beyond 60,000 miles. Taylor Tire recommended these tires for my car. According to the Michelin website, these tires were recommended for my car. Replacements were handled under the prorated wear warranty. Tires were rotated every 5 - 6,000 miles. The current set of Defenders were down to less than 3/32" in 46,000 miles. I had to replace them because I picked up a screw and no one would repair them because they were too worn. These tires are sold as an 80,000 mile tire. Unfortunately, there were no V rated Michelin's available on Memorial day so, I had to go with a competitive brand. I am not happy about that, but it is what it is. I am very disappointed that the Michelins just did not hold up as promised. I tried and tried, but an H rated tire does not replace a V rated tire which is required on my Avalon Hybrid Limited. So, I would suggest Michelin remove the recommendation of the H rated Defenders from their website for Avalon Hybrid Limited vehicles.

Do not buy-will not last

Horrible, do not purchase. We purchased 4 tires - 2 years/30,000 miles ago and having to replace 3 of them. The dealership is helping us with the warranty claim but it looks like we are getting only a couple hundred dollars for the claim. We spent over $1200 for these tires and expected them to last much longer than 30k miles. We are replacing them but not Michelin.

Best tires ever

Best tires I have ever owned, I would buy them again tomorrow.

They don't last like they should. Do not recommend

I have bought two sets of these tires for my wife's van and neither set has lasted more the 45,000 miles. If you want to keep spending money on tires that get no where near the milage warranty then buy these. I will say the ride is good and if you don't have every tire rotation receipt they will not warranty them. I am about to get new tires again but seriously doubt it will be michelin this time.

Quit procrastinating...just buy them!

You know how when you read reviews people say "Wow what a difference these tires make" Put a set of these Defender 2 Michelins on your SUV & then you'll be saying that too! Excellent tires.....well worth the money!!!

I bought these about 4 months ago. BIG MISTAKE

DO NOT BUY IF MPG MATTERS! I bought these 4 months ago, and have driven them for about 5000 miles. I have a hybrid that was getting low 40s for mileage. Since getting the Michellin defenders I'm getting low 30s. That's about a 22 percent mpg drop. Pretty ridiculous! What a mistake. DO NOT BUY THESE IF GAS MILEAGE MATTERS. Michellin should be ashamed to sell these tires!

Excellent All season tires

Just got Defender 2 installed for my CRV. Feels the comfort drive and so quiet. Very please with the tire
