Review Summary
The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the tires. Some customers report positive experiences with the tires, such as great handling, comfort, and traction. However, a significant number of customers have had negative experiences, including rapid and uneven tread wear, poor performance in adverse weather, frequent air leaks and punctures, and questionable durability. While some customers praised the quiet ride and overall performance, the negative reviews seem to outweigh the positive ones.

Fast wearing tires
Came on our new Ford Explorer. Was excited to see they were Michelins since always heard they were good tires. Wrong - they need replaced at only 30,0000 miles. And we had them rotated every 5000 miles. I thought they would last longer than that.
Mattjd, we hate to read that your experience with our tires hasn’t been a great one. Our team is here and would like to help. You'll hear from us soon.

Perform Well New But Doesn't Last Long
Tires at 30K miles and already nearly at wear bars. Had decent traction when new but for the past 5K miles have had a lot of slip.
bambam, it's unfortunate your tires are near the wear bars at this time. We'd suggest an inspection of the tires from your local authorized Michelin retailer. Please have them call us while you are there so that we can get more information.

Horrible product quality
Bought 2022 Eqinox brand new in 2021 tires are at 35,000 and already need replaced. Horrible tire does not meet the 55,000 mile guarantee. I have had my tires rotated at every service appt. No reason I couldn’t get another 20,000 miles out of these tires if the quality was as stated. Will never purchase Michelin tire ever again
Brttny83, sorry to read that your tires are worn out before delivering the expected mileage. A team member will be in touch to discuss further.

Bad quality
Tire burst after 40000 KM. Had to pay for new set. Been using the vehicle for 8 months only.
88v 225, we're sorry you've experienced a problem with a Primacy All Season. The first step is to have the tire inspected by an authorized retailer and open a warranty claim. Have the dealer contact us while you are there.

Quick wear
Making this review for the GF. Her 2020 ford escape came factory with 225/60-18 Michelin primacy A/S tires. Two of the four are about 10% left and the other tow about 30%. We were notified by ford dealer tire recommend at 28k. Car is used for local commuting and highway trips no off road use. Tires rotated during routine services by a dealer. No notice of alignment needed, no curbing or overload on vehicle. Vehicle currently at 32k and dealer wants over 900$ for a set. As mentioned how can it be rated for 55k
Concerned, we're sorry that you have had this experience with the Primacy All Season tires. First step is to have the tires inspected by an authorized retailer. Have the retailer contact us while you are there at their store.

Best Tires I've owned
Best tires I have ever had. These came new on my 2020 Equinox. I have 71k miles on there and they still have at least 10k more. Never had to balance them and they never produced a wear pattern.

Tires don’t hold up
Completely worn after 26,000 miles. I just took my car into the dealer for basic maintenance only to find out my tires are evenly worn down needing replacement for all 4 tires. How can these be rated for 55,000 miles?
JB, there are several factors involved in tire wear. Our team will be in touch with you to gather more details and help get this resolved.

Secret foam makes tires unrepairable
OEM for my Ioniq5, had the bad luck to get a puncture within 3 months of buying the car. Turns out there is foam inside to dampen tire noise which makes the tire unable to be patched as removing the foam in the punctured area somehow affects the structural integrity of the tire. Dealer insists the foam makes the tire "run flat" but I haven't found any indication of this in Michelin or other literature. Incresibly frustrating that tire shops (which I found via the Michelin website), car dealership, and Michelin all seem to have contradictory information about these tires and that they would create a tire which is non repairable for a very expensive car
LS, we are sorry you are receiving conflicting information. MICHELIN® Acoustic Technology effectively reduces vibrations caused by the road resulting in a significant reduction of interior noise by approximately 20%*. A custom designed polyurethane foam solution muffles noise resonance. Punctures may be repaired in accordance with our Repair Procedure Bulletin depending on the size and location of the damage. One of our team members will be in touch to discuss further.

Quick to wear
These tires came on my new Ioniq 5. 15K miles (15 months) later I went for a service and they're at 3/32 depth, and need replacing. I drive quite tamely.
Tired, we are sorry to read that your tires are worn at 15k. Our team is here to help. We will be in touch to get details and help with a solution.

Ok if you only drive in dry, warm weather.
Ok in the dry, no real feedback but seems to grip ok. Totally different in the wet, front slips, rear slips, almost dangerous. I have absolutely no faith that these will handle winter weather.
CarGuy, we're sorry to read of your disappointment in the tires originally fitted on your vehicle. A team member will be in touch to discuss further and help with a solution.
