Review Summary

The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the tires. Some customers report positive experiences with the tires, such as great handling, comfort, and traction. However, a significant number of customers have had negative experiences, including rapid and uneven tread wear, poor performance in adverse weather, frequent air leaks and punctures, and questionable durability. While some customers praised the quiet ride and overall performance, the negative reviews seem to outweigh the positive ones.

Warning--Dangerous Tires

Horrible! at only 7500 miles on a new Mercedes Benz GLC 300 4-Matic the left rear tire blew out while traveling 80 mph on Interstate 95 in southern Georgia, and could have cost my husband his life as he negotiated crossing three lanes of traffic to reach the berm. The response from Michelin? A case number, no help, no follow-up. A Michelin rep said take it to a MB dealer, the dealer said it was a waste of time and Michelin wouldn't do anything. Long story short--we replaced the tire with out own money. The car did not hit or run over anything to puncture the tire. It just completely separated from the rim. Air pressure was good, as the car monitors it. These were OEM tires that Mercedes uses for that model. We are terribly angry at the situation and Michelin. The only thing I received from them was a case number--no phone call or follow-up. So disappointing from a company that I once considered a better brand. No more Michelins for us!

Great

I bought my Ford Mustang Mach-E and these tires have been good in the snow and on regular roads. Even though they are rwd. They work great.

Not suitable for unpaved roads

Our new car came equipped with Michelin Primacy. Had 4 flats under 25,000 km. Had to replace one tire. These tires aren't suitable for unpaved roads. Dealer says Michelin offers no garantee .

amos, we are sorry to read of 4 flat tires. The Michelin warranty covers workmanship and materials for 6 years or the life of the tread, whichever comes first. Michelin does not offer road hazard coverage, however some retailers offer such coverage on tires they sell.

Sidewall Bulge at 1400 miles

These came standard with my new EV, one of them already had a sidewall bulge at 1400 miles. No retailers near me carry these tires so I'm out the full cost of a whole new set because these are garbage. Buyer beware.

Came with 2022 ford explorer. Have approx .1875" of tread left but the sidewalls are extremely weak and drift as a result. Never again

Do not buy these for your Tesla

Put these tires on my 2019 Tesla Model 3 on 1/25/2024 - 45000 warranty. Needed to replace rear tires on 9/23/2024 after 7,764 miles. These tires are not made for Teslas obviously - do not buy Michelin for your Tesla.

Great Tire.

We purchased a (than new) 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross LE brand new with these set of Primacy™ All Season on them. We now have over 43,000 mile on that vehicle. And the tires still have some very good wear left on them. Suggestion to everyone: Rotate your tires (any tires) every 5,000 miles no matter what. Have your tires inspected by a professional at the same times. Check your tire pressure bi-weekly. Have your tires balanced a few times a year and an alignment once or twice per year. Depending on your mileage. And your tire light comes on, get it check now.

No good for EV cars, only last 10K miles

Didn't last more than 10K. I called Michelin and they didn't want to arrange anything because the tire came with the car when I purchased it new. That the only way they can proceed with the warranty is if I purchased the tires. When I did my research this tires are not intended for EV cars so I moved out and purchased a whole new set of tire with other company that have a dedicated tire for EV cars. I already expended a lot of money in this tires and a towing company because I was afraid to drive my car with a heavy vibration.

Michelin really backs there tires and warranty

I bought a set of 4 for my wife’s RAV 4 and she had gotten a flat a month and a half later and Michelin sent a serviceman out to take care of. I’ve had Michelin all my life and won’t change. You get what you pay for. Great company, always so helpful. 👍
