Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable Tires Just put on second set of defenders. Over 75,000 miles on first set. Could have gone to 80,000 but cut to one tire made it unrepairable. Most smooth riding and quiet tires I have ever owned. Even with this mileage still provided excellent performance in all conditions, even wet roads. Overall excellent tires in ever category.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let's see this 80,000 starting now! I just purchase these tires and will keep an update ongoing. So far, don't hear the noise as other owners mentioned. Feels like they are absorbing unmanaged roads better than the stock Firestones on 2019 Hybrid Camrys, which only get 25k - 30k miles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and smooth I bought these yesterday in Salt Lake and they are great. On the way back home they much quieter than the Douglas extra tracks that I replaced. They also rolled much smoother, there was a little bit of vibration but I think it was from over inflation when they mounted them. I lowered the pressure from 42 psi., to 35 psi and took my truck for a drive and the vibration is gone . These are great tires and I would buy them again if still available, but Michelin does not show this size anymore in the Defender T+H, the other deciding factor is if my truck is still operable as it is 34 year's old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Riding Tires I bought these to replace the OEM Firestones that lasted 40,000 miles. The ride is much improved and road noise greatly reduced. My wife and I very much appreciate the way it grips both wet and dry surfaces. I have always been a Michelin fan (Continental & Perrelli). Highly recommend this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excessive tire noise I’ve been running Cooper tires for 20 years. I decided to go to my local tire dealer and give Michelin a try. We purchased 4 Michelin Defender T+H tires for our 2011 Chevy Malibu. The road noise is totally unacceptable. When you get over 50 MPH it is nearly impossible to carry on a conversation with all the noise. I cannot speak to the performance in snow, as there’s no way we can deal with this noise. They may be a great performing tire; however, the road noise is unacceptable. I think I’m going back to Cooper. We’ve had the tires for 3 months now and can’t deal with this any longer.
