Pilot Sport 4 TIRE REVIEW

They perform very well my vehicle is set up for performance with coilover suspension so it is imperative my tyres perform well. They do take a while to warm up and reach optimum performance so are not fantastic for short journeys. I also find them quite noisy on the majority of road surfaces. Far noisier that the Cross Climate Plus Tyres I tried on the fabia but sadly they were too wide to fit beneath the wheel arches.

Amazing! They have transformed the handling of the car.

Excellently. I particularly like that when I accelerate hard they do not squeal but make a quiet Zzzzzzzz sound almost a buzz. Great grip wet and dry. I feel safe.

Great Traction Great Road Noise

Bought the PS4S at the beginning of summer with much excitement and after three balancing, two alignments I have concluded the price of traction is road noise and high frequency vibration. Super disappointed that these tires transmit so much road noise through the steering wheel that as much as I enjoy that these tires can hookup and handle 680HP, I have been looking forward to putting on my winters for a smoother ride. Missing my Super Sports.

Excellent replacement tires for Golf GTI

I researched several tires when it came time to replacing my summer tires on my GTI, I looked at Pirelli, Continental and Hankook and felt that the Pilot Sport 4's were the way to go, yes you will pay a little more for them, but they are worth it in handling, grip and low road noise

AMAZING TIRE!

I’ve had the PS4S’ installed for a few months now and what a difference in performance. The grip is unreal compared to my previous max performance tires. They’re great in the rain as well. The most impressive quality, to me, is how much smoother and quieter they are. This is just an amazing tire!

Quiet

I expected excellent grip but was surprised by how quiet the 4S is. As a point of reference, previous tires include PS3, DWS06, ContiSportContact 3

Amazing Traction

I own a 2019 BULLITT Mustang with a Stage 2 Whipple Supercharger and 825 HP. I spent a great deal of time researching and asking automotive people in the know what tire I should have on my car for when I went on the race track at AREA 27 in Oliver, BC. Time and again I was told that there was a reason why Ford put Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on you high performance Bullitt. Well everyone was absolutely correct. I pushed my BULLITT to the limit the entire day and the Pilot Sport 4s Michelins gave me everything I could ask for, grip, traction in the corners, predictability, feel and ride. A WIN, WIN for me and my BULLITT!!!

Love these Tires

Running 225/40/18 PS4S on my 2017 VW Jetta Wolfsburg (Canada) in combination with Eibach Sportline springs. This combination has increased the cornering ability tenfold, tire adhesion is excellent and highly predictable, I have not stopped talking about these tires to anyone who'll listen! Excellent product!!

Really good tires

I have 32,000 Km,s on my tires and still have all kinds left, I can drive my car in the rain even now. They are a little pricey but well worth it in the long run. I have been asked many times how much I have liked then and given a good review. In the summer I use the car daily
