Transformative ride
To date, I've only had the OEM Bridgestone Potenza summer run-flats and Blizzaks for the winter on my 2013 BMW 335is. I took the plunge this week and had the new Pilot Sport 4S installed and it has transformed the driving experience. The ride is smoother, quieter and grippier. I also notice an improvement in fuel ecconomy. My only disappointment is that I suffered with the OEM tires for a couple years! A road trip is imminent!
Best Tire for Volvo T5 Turbo!
The most responding tire ( a previous Z rated by another manufacturer was wormy and way less direct in comparison). These track superbly. By far less road noise too. The ever so slight firmer city ride is by far outweighed by the safety factor in direct response, highway smoothness. Side walls are firm, I had to replace a previous manufacturer's several times due to bubbling. Even the tire installer said that he felt a huge difference in the side wall thickness to old ones that were Z-rated. I am dying to try them in the snow and wet as I read they are top rated there too. Add long lasting to the mix and you can't beat them. Great Tire.

DO NOT BUY THIS TIRE
Only buy this tire if you want to learn how the Michelin tire warranty process works. Tread wear was down to 4/32 after only 18,000 km and only two years of summer only driving.
Good performance overshadowed by very poor durability
Good performance but very poor wear. Rotated and maintained. No unusual driving. Warranted for 45k miles and lasted only 13k miles. I bought these specifically for the longer wear so I am quite disappointed. Reading other similar customer experience, this seems like a defective product. Did not expect this from Michelin. I will be seeking warranty replacement and hopefully Michelin will stand behind their product.
Didn't last long at all
Wife and I have 3 cars and work from home. I mostly drive my Tacoma and she primarily drives our Lexus RX. Our 3rd car for very occasional local use is a 92 Lexus SC400. Today I took it in for an annual inspection and the treads are just about gone so we have to get replacements. I looked at my scanned receipts I always keep and we bought these tires in January of 2016. We don't take this car on long trips - just around town. It's one of these fair weather cars and we don't take it out of it's raining or snowing. We barely got 9000 miles on these ! Very disappointed. We also keep this car aligned. They only lasted 12,000 miles
I really can't believe I am writing this review. I have purchased Michelin's for decades with one thing in mind, the highest level of quality. My OEM Summer tires lasted 31,000 miles. I went with the All Season equivalent in the Michelin believing they would last a lot longer. I was floored when I had the car in for a brake inspection and they told me the tires were almost worn out. I have only driven them 11,500 miles. I can't believe this is normal for Michelin's. When I went to look them up to understand the tread-wear expectations I noticed they have updated them to a PLUS version. Hope it wears better.

Simply the High Mark of Excellence In Summer Tires!
Recently Installed a new set of Pilot Sport 4 S Tires on our 2017 Dodge Charger SRT Daytona and they have made the car come alive in so many ways, to extremely good Dry and Wet traction to ultra quick breaking and performance handling! These Tires are very quite and are the worlds ultimate out on the interstate highways as we traveled from Minneapolis Minnesota to Wyoming in the ultimate ride with these tires!
Worn out way too quickly
When I went to have the tires installed for the summer the tire center told me they were worn out and wouldn't install them on the car. There is approximately 25,000 km on the tires as I only use them for two seasons and my Michelin winter tires are wearing fine with about same kms. I asked if there was any warranty and they said it was a mechanical issue with car and not a tire issue. I checked my maintenance records and I had alignment prior to installing them so I don't believe a mechanical issue. Very disappointed as I am (was?) a Michelin tire guy.
