Review Summary

The tires provide excellent grip and performance in both dry and wet conditions, with many customers reporting good mileage from the front and rear tires. However, some users have experienced issues such as premature wear, pulling to the left, and increased noise over time. While most customers are very satisfied with the overall quality and capabilities of the tires, a minority have encountered problems.

Great for the twisties even when wet.

I do a lot of hair raising steep twisties on wet mountain roads with these Road 6 tires. No slippage or break in the traction patch due to water, or even traction control warnings on my rear tire. While they are soft enough really to grab the asphalt on a lean, they are very durable (unavoidable sharp stones and scree haven't marred them). They ride really nice and are very comfortable when properly inflated. These are my favorite everyday tires.

The front Michelin Road 6 appears narrower than claimed

I just bought two new Michelin Road 6 tires for my BMW R1200 GSA. The front tire comes in a 120/70 19. This tire looks extremely skinny compared to a Michelin Pilot Road 4 in the same size. I actually measure the Michelin Road 6 in the 120/70 19 size and it measures out at 110/70 19. Conversely, my rear Michelin Road 6 appears wider than the 170/60 17 or at least as wide as the 170/60 17 Michelin Pilot road 4. My advice would be if you plan on buying a front Michelin Road 6 tire, buy one 10 mm wider than your stock size. My front Michelin Road 6 looks too skinny for the bike and looks silly

Where to buy ?

Where can I buy a set of Michelin Pilot Road 6 tires in Dallas, tx size 120/70ZR17- 190/55ZR17 ? i can only find the PR5 tires.

Hi CNI Dawg, unfortunately we are currently not connected to the stock of local dealers. However, if you can not find them at your local tire shop, you can always purchase them online and have them shipped to your dealer for installment.
