The Road 6 has been the best tire for the FJR I have used, these are the 2nd set for this bike. The handling has been far superior than others I have used. pretty much has transformed the bike in all respects.

Great Grip and Longevity
I’ve put around 600 miles on them so far and I’m quite impressed with there grip and how well they last. I know 600 miles isn’t much but it looks like they haven’t worn at all. I will say when they are cold they lack a lot of grip but they comes with any tire. Once you’ve ridden around for a bit and they warm up they are ready to shred. I was between these and the Power 6 but went with the Road 6 due to their better longevity and water disbursement. I ride mostly straight roads so I figured the Power 6 would wear flat strip too soon.

Great all around tire.
I bought these tires a year or two ago and I’ve put 6,390.0 miles on them. This is the first set these I’ve bought. The rear tire went flat today, my fault but I needed to know the max distance I could get out of these. I can get 1,300 more miles out of these tires than the other tires I usually get. Great grip in wet and dry conditions. Great in corners. My front tire still has plenty of tread. I’ll buy these again.

Trust the tires
A huge thank you to Michelin for these tires! These definitely give me the confidence to lean more into those curvy roads, especially in rain or snow! A must for riders who have to deal with ever changing weather throughout the year. No matter the condition, I know the stopping power will be there when the brakes have to be used. I will be using Michelin for all my bikes moving forward.

Best Tire for me so far....
I ride a KTM Super Duke GT and since 2019 I have tried several tires and these Dunlop Road 6s are overall the best. I rode the stock Pirellis for a few go arounds and while they were great tires with huge grip and great handling they did not last long at all. Then I tried Continental Road Attacks which lasted longer but handling and grip were to me not as good. So after reading numerous reviews on tires (and recommendation from my local dealer) i decided to give the Michelin Road 6 a try. Grip is great, maybe not on a par with the pirellis, but certainly more than adequate. Handling is top notch. Wet tire performance is where these tires really excellent, total confidence there. Wear is also top notch, first time I have got somewhere near normal mileage out of a tire. I am on my 2nd set now and I want to point out something that I think most riders are not aware of. For the first time in my riding experience of 40 years I got a puncture out on the road. May be I have been plain lucky, but this was genuinely my 1st time. Rear tire went down with a sizable hole about a third of the way into the tread pattern, no idea what caused it but must have been something fairly large. I was in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky and was able to ride the bike slowly for 8 miles until I reached a garage and they plugged it and got me going again. Yes, this tire (mine was the Road 6GT version) has strong enough sidewalls that it will run flat for 8 miles!! Carefully mind. This tire literally saved my butt. Maybe other motorcycle tires will do the same thing, like I say this was my 1st time so I don't know. So I was able to get to a powersports place and get a replacement. Took me a few days but I will always run this tire from now on.

Great tire, great handling....but LOUD!!
These tires give everything they're made out to be in handling, both dry and wet conditions. They also have very good longevity; I ride 10,000 miles/yr. Fantastic tire. However, much like other reviews, I agree that they are extremely loud after 4000 miles. I've got an awful 'wailing' sound that I thought must be a front wheel bearing or something....nope...it's these tires screaming away. I would not buy them again for that reason alone...they're that loud.
jema77, thank you for taking the time to submit a review. Have you been back to the selling dealer regarding this complaint? We would suggest to have them inspect the tires. You are welcomed to contact us at 866-866-6605 8am-5pm EST also.

Super tires!
I now have 2000 miles on these tires, replacing stock/OEM Bridgestone T32 on my 2022 Tracer 9 GT. At times the T32s seemed squirrely on some corners and I never felt fully confident riding on them, hence, at 7900 miles I changed them to the 6s. My initial impression was that I had a new bike! Turn in was precise and tracking was spot on. They have not once made me feel apprehensive in the corners. I run them at 36/42 per manufacturer and I get great mileage and comfort. I will replce with these when the time comes. Haven't tried them in the wet yet as it very dry in S. Oregon during summer. Excellent tires that are highly recommended for all sport touring machines.

These tires Exceeded my Expectations
First of all i want to start by saying Michelins are pricey and held off and always put your less pricey (mich off brands) tires on my vehicles. Didnt have that option for my M/C so i splurged! They exceeded my expectations & well worth the money for sure. Performance is off the chart in every category!

Too Loud
Tires handle well but they get ridiculously loud starting around 4,000 miles. This is my second set of GT 6 tires. Both sets have the same issue. Noise starts around 4,000 miles when leaning in either direction. By 4500 miles they “wail” even going straight. My buddies make me ride in the back.
Pauli, thank you for your review of the MICHELIN Road 6 tire! We appreciate your feedback. We are sorry you are experiencing more road noise than usual. Please have your bike checked out by your trusted motorcycle dealer, sometimes incorrect mounting, incorrect balancing, worn motorcycle components, etc can be a root cause.

Noisy
Handle well. But this is my second set of Road GT and they absolutely WAIL beginning at around 4000 miles. It starts when you lean left or right, and eventually even when just going straight. I mean they are LOUD. My buddies make me ride in the back so they don’t have to hear the noise. Sounds like an 18 wheeler.
