Worth it for the price.
Bought Michelin Road 6 pair for my Kawasaki Z900 at 12000kms odometer reading in MARCH 2024. July 2025 completed 18000kms on road 6 tyres; odomoeter reading 30,000kms. Rear tyre lasts 18000kms hence ordered ROAD 6GT. Front tyre is still in good shape. Great and value for money MICHELIN.

Excellent tires
Excellent replacement tires for my 2016 FJ09 from the OEM Dunlops. Tire pressures maintained to factory specifications. High speed stability and confidence in cornering compared to original tires. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Poor Longevity
Tires were great, they had great grip in all situations it just didn’t have any longevity. I had to replace the rear tire after only 4000 miles
C, thank you for your feedback. The wear of a tire can vary depending on riding style, usage, load, riding conditions, and proper inflation. It is always recommended to take your bike in to a local dealer for inspection to see if there could be any underlying conditions.

Why are these loosing traction in the wet ?
I have a triumph 800 XRT and have had pilot 5's and wore them out with zero issues . Since having the Road 6 Pilots on the bike now I have had it step out and the traction control come on 5 times in 2000kms in the wet. The bike flicks out suddenly and the rear looses traction in the wet at a very slow 50kph in the rain. Is there such a thing as a faulty tyre ? This has happened even on the straights. Gives me the heebees when this happens

Lovely wet weather tires
I am a Puget Sound year round commuter and I have been using Michelin PR4's or PR5's for the last 14yrs. I have been running a set of Road 6 for 10k miles on a 2010 ST1300. There is still plenty of meat left on the tires. I am disappointed that Michelin no longer makes a120/70ZR18 GT version for the front. The front does feel squishy when taking turns occasionally. There is a 60mph rated turn on my commute that I regularly take at higher speeds and the tire felt like it was wobbling. Same turn and same dry pavement the next day and the tire was solid. If I cross a seem in the road the tire wobbles. I do not remember experiencing this with the other tires I ran.

I installed the first set of Road 6 on July 6, 2022. They lasted until August 15, 2023 after 15,353 km. I reinstalled Road 6 GT at that time. They lasted until September 20, 2024 after 15,338 km. Very satisfied with the handling and stability in the rain. Thanks Michelin. Photo: March 19,2025; actual wear after 5,485 km.

Confidence
Since I got this tires every corner I went in is like 50% too slow... The tire give you a lot of confidence and is easy to read behavior... My bike is Kawasaki H2SX-se...

Tire wears out very quickly compared to the rear tire.
I bought my new bike and the tire is already at the bar. The dealer is telling me to get a new tire else inspection will fail. The rear tire tread is much better. Although they are both new tires with the new bike and only 7k miles riden.

12,500 Miles till belt!!!
After eleven months of highway commuting 60 miles per day, the rear tire just showed belt at 12,500 miles on my Michelin Road 6 195/55 ZR 17 tires. The front is still good. Very happy.

Front tire dry rot issue
Rear tire held up good good traction. The really disappointing part is the front tire on me and my community members has begun to dry rot after 6-12 months of use which is not what I would expect from michelin's most expensive touring tire. Originally I thought it was only me but after noticing the tires have the same problem with many users in Arizona I think it might be a manufacturing issue with the new 2CT± formula.
Koshah, thank you for the feedback. It is recommended to take your bike to a local dealer for an inspection. Once your bike is inspected by your dealer, you can always contact Michelin Consumer Care at 800-346-4098.
