Review Summary
The tires provide good traction, especially in wet conditions, and offer a comfortable and confident ride. However, some customers reported experiencing vibration and noise issues, particularly at higher speeds, though this issue may disappear when the bike is leaned into a turn. Additionally, a few customers noted the tires wore out prematurely, requiring replacement after around 5,000 miles of use.

Good but could be better....
I had Commander II's on bikes before and this is my first set of Commander III's. They seem to take longer to break in and start feeling like they really grip the road as they should but after a few hundred miles they wear in. They are also louder when riding on some kinds of pavement than the II's were.

Commander 3's
I thought the commander 11 were good but the new commander 111 are even better. Definitely be getting another set when the time comes

Excellent Touring Tire
I’m thoroughly satisfied with these tired. I feel confident leaning in curves. I immediately felt a difference when I reached highway speeds. Three of the fellas I ride with have purchased these tires and everyone loves them!

Excellent Tires
Long lasting tires with excellent handling in all conditions.

Amazing tires
Great tires! So far I have ridden over 200 miles on them and no problems. Previous tires wore out after a season of riding. Would recommend these!

Very Nice and I would recommend
I bought these tires back in January. I put them on some brand new mag wheels. One thing I will say is that I was impressed that the front mag balanced out without needing wheel weights on a new chrome mag wheel. everything I have to say about these tires are great. I use to have Perilli tires. I feel more comfortable leaning the bike into a curve. these tires don't get as squirrely. They feel like much softer rubber for better attraction. I am very please with my purchase. I tend to spin my tires when taking off quite a bit so judging the tread life on them is kind of hard. As of now I have about 1000 miles on them and I am very pleased. They only time I got caught in the rain with them, it was a down pour. the tires held up fine and I never felt the bike get loose. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone I know. you get a lot of bang for your buck. I am very pleased with my purchase.

My Street Glide has better control
Coming from Dunlops to the new commander 3's makes my bike handle like it's brand new bike. I have better control in the turns, nice smooth ride going down the road. I can definitely handle the bike better. I'm very satisfied with the new commander 3's

My favorite tires
They made my 2014 ultra classic bike feel 10x as nimble as the stock dunlap tires. Gives you great confidence to go into a hard lean. Dry or wet. I sold the bike after only a couple thousand miles, but those miles were great.

Commander III Touring Honest opinion
I purchased a 2008 Ultra Classic Electra Glide in 2018. It only had 1900 miles on it and still had the original tires, Dunlop D402F. I put 4000 miles on the bike since owning it and the rear tire started to come apart, it was 12 years old.I did a lot of research on what tires I wanted to put on and decided the Commander III tire was for me. During the install the dealer suggested I put new wheel bearings in the front, so I did. The day I picked up my bike.it was near closing time. As I started riding I immediately notice a vibration that was coming from the front tire when I hit 25-30 mph. I would describe it more as a buzzing feeling in the handlebars. I was thinking this could just be new tires and have to break them in. I rode the bike home on the freeway without incident and only noticed the buzzing at 25-30 mph. I had a ride planned for the next day and was nervous about the buzzing and called the dealership to get their opinion and advice on whether I should ride. Well, that was really no help, I received the standard answer of can you bring it in? We are booked two weeks out. However, they did say it should be fine to ride, so I went on my ride that day. We rode several different roads throughout the course of the ride. Everything from freeway to slower twisty roads. After several hundred miles the buzzing never went away, but I did notice more of a buzzing feeling throughout my bike. It only happened when I was ridding straight up and anytime I was turning or leaning it would go away. I also notice the buzzing was a little stronger at 50 mph, but continued to be strongest at the 25-30 mph and would quickly go away at 31 mph. I was initially concerned this was caused by the wheel bearing that was replaced until I went out on a longer ride. Now, I feel like it is created by the tires. I am hoping at some point this will all go away, but believe I may have to live with this buzzing until I replace the tire. I love the look of the tire and the review that it will last a long time. I am not happy with the buzzing feeling I now have when riding my bike. want to recommend this tire, but honestly have not put enough miles on it, the form made me pick yes or no and as of this review I would have to say no, sorry., so I thought I would share my initial experiences. I did not ride it in the wet, I have no idea on longevity yet, they make me answer them so I just put three, don't read into that.
