Review Summary
The tires provide good traction, especially in wet conditions, and offer a comfortable and confident ride. However, some customers reported experiencing vibration and noise issues, particularly at higher speeds, though this issue may disappear when the bike is leaned into a turn. Additionally, a few customers noted the tires wore out prematurely, requiring replacement after around 5,000 miles of use.

Awesome Tyre!!
Put these on my 2017 Harley Ultra Limited. Love them so far! No noise. Nice and smooth and super grip. Only reason I din't give 5 stars on Wet Surface grip is because I have only been in light rain so far but no issues. Only 4 stars on longevity because I only have about 1200 miles so far. Tread reminds me of a sport bike tyre. Would definitely purchase again.

Best touring tires for spirited riding
I have ridden these tires hard for about 3000 miles so far and they have been outstanding. More performance, better handling and less noise than Harley Davidson OEM tires. One up or two up, I can drag my FLTRU floorboards with confidence. Very happy! *4 stars on wet performance because I haven’t ridden in rain yet. I’m confident that they will perform well.

Awesome Tires For my HD RoadGlide Special
So far after a few months I have grown to really love these tires. I feel like they add to my ability to control , especially in turning. Compared to the OEM tire I think I gave myself a huge upgrade!

my review
best heavy motorcycle tire I have ever ridden on and I have been riding heavy cruisers for 50 years!

Impressive
Bought these to replace the stock tires on my Harley-Daivdson Road King Special (Dunlop Harley-Davidson D408F & Dunlop Harley-Davidson D407T). When I am choosing tires I'm looking for logevity primarily (I normally do a lot of long rides), but my second most important factor is wet traction. These two ideas are normally diametrically opposed. I knew the reputation of the Commander IIs and trust the Michelin brand so I was excited about the possibilites for the new Commander IIIs to meet my needs. I purchased front and rear in Feb/Mar 2020. Currently have about 1500 miles on the rear Commander iII and 500 on the front Commander III.Not a lot of miles for a Touring tire, I know. COVID has slowed down riding. I am not disappointed. I don't yet know how long these tires will last (that'll take a few years probably) but I do know that they have already shown to have much better wet grip than my previous tires. Cornering in these tires in wet (or dry) conditions feels fluid and stable. For a tire that will theoretically outlast my previous tire by quite a bit, I'm over the mood happy with it. Are there grippier tires out there? Yes. Will they last as long as the Commander III touring will? I highly doubt it. At this point I don't think I'll every put a different tire on a touring motorcycle. Commander III Touring all the way.

Commander 111
One ran commander 2 since 2012 and have loved them. I always get 24000 to 25000 miles out of them before they need changed. I now have 5400 miles on the Commander 3 tires they look great on my StreetGlide, I highly recommend them for Harley, the Dunlop tires Harley puts on I am lucky to get 18000 miles before buying new tires.

Best tires I have ridden
I put these on my 2000 Harley flstc. I'm a big guy (270lbs.) and these tires handle great. Easy to turn in and stable. After about 2000 miles I have no complaints. Wet or dry roads are not a problem. I really can't recall how my Dunlop E3's when they were new but changing from them to the Commander III's noticeable. Felt like a different bike. I mostly noticed a smother ride and the ease of cornering. Too soon to tell how long thay will last. IMO these are a very good tire.

So Far So Good
I just purchased the commanderIIIs a few months ago after having the stock Dunlops that my street glide came with. I like the feel and the ease of turning. I got 10,000 mi out of my Dunlop’s so I’m hoping to double that

Great in the rain!
I’ve been loving the Commander III’s performance in wet conditions! They give me a lot more confidence when having to ride in the rain or on wet roads in general.

Commander 3 Ultra LL
