Review Summary
The tires provide good traction, especially in wet conditions, and offer a comfortable and confident ride. However, some customers reported experiencing vibration and noise issues, particularly at higher speeds, though this issue may disappear when the bike is leaned into a turn. Additionally, a few customers noted the tires wore out prematurely, requiring replacement after around 5,000 miles of use.

60 MPH vibration in front tire
I purchased both front and back tires at the same time last year for a trip that was canceled due to COVID. Now we are about 2800 miles in to trip and the vibration has increased enough that I took my bike to the Harley dealership to find out why. They said they have had several complaints from customers with commander 3 tires vibrating and went ahead and replaced the bearings at my request, but I am still getting the vibration at 60 MPH plus it is wearing my hands out. Is there a recall on the commander 3 tires?

I Love the feel of this tire
Tire performs beautiful. Got caught in a heavy rain storm tire worked perfect

Commander III - vibrations and road
Long time fan of Commander II (2) Also was a fan of the Michelin Scorcher, however, it did not have the mileage of Commander 2. I Bought a set of Commander III (3) thinking it would be improved. They are NOT. In fact both my Roadglide Special and my wife's RGS have vibrations and at speeds between 45-60 there is a HUM like you were listening to a truck with mud tires go down the highway.

Disappointed
These tires have a vibration when riding straight, almost like a buzz, very disappointed as the Commander II was excellent.

Not good
Installed set on a 2016 road glide special. Got on the highway and started vibrating/buzzing terrible. Called Michelin and told them the problem. It seemed like they wanted to make things right. I’ll let you know if they stand behind the tires or not.

Do NOT buy!
Just installed today, the first two miles started getting a vibration in the handlebars at different speeds. Vibration goes away with leaning the bike. Rode for 30 miles hoping it would get better never did. Would not recommend these tires to anyone! Hopefully my dealer can make it right.

TOOK 7 MONTHS TO GET THESE TIRES DUE TO COVID . BUT WORTH THE WAIT.
now that i have had the tires on my CVO Roadglide for about 6 months. I have to say they do live up to all the hype. the bike corners far better than it ever has. the fastest i have had them so far was 110 mph and they felt great extremely stable and smooth . haven't had any rain to see how they feel but Las Vegas doesn't get much rain. i would definitely recommend these tires to anyone with a bagger or touring bike.

if you have cupping and feathering
its not the tire, its your tire pressure or alignment. i sell thousands of these tires over the years, and by far they are the best

i may have wasted 400 plus dollars
i have a 2015 road glide the front tire has a harmonic imbalance when driving straight goes away when turning even after replacing front bearings and getting tire electronical balance. I've been riding and racing motorcycles for years a little disappointed with tires , also been a Michelin person i run them on all my vehicles. I would not recommend these tires, did not have this problem with the commander 2

Not so Good Vibrations
From the get go, front tire hummed/vibrated from just over 20MPH into the lower 30’s. If you lean the bike either way at this speed, regardless of RPM or gear, goes away. I thought as I put miles on, this may even out. It only got worse and now I have a vibration at 50MPH plus as well. There are plenty of other HD riders out there with the same problem. The tire grips well, is easy to lean over in turns and has very good wet traction. The buzz in the bars is unacceptable.
