Horrible...DO NOT BUY!!!
How the heck are you still selling these useless tires. The vibration/hum is a know issue you still haven't corrected. I have one of these sitting in my garage with less than 1k. Support is also just as useless as the tires.
Front tire vibration
Rear tired lasted over 14,000 miles that's the good the bad the front tire had a vibration at 50 to 55 mph, I rebalanced it several times couldn't get rid of the vibration finally took it off after a couple thousand miles and put Commander 2 Tire on vibration completely gone it's too bad I had to waste all that money on the front tire that was garbage I have had a couple of sets of Commander 2 tires and they are very good it's too bad that Michelin really dropped the ball on the commander 3 I purchased these tires a couple of years ago before anybody knew about all the problems that they have with these front tires so nobody wanted to know nothing at that time kept telling me that maybe I didn't balance it right so I took the tire off and put a Commander 2 on

Horrible tires!
I purchased these tires after having a Michelin Commander 2 separate on me this time last year. My HD dealer said it looked like I hit something so I was not concerned with going to the Commander 3 even though I was pretty sure I had not hit anything. From the very beginning the tires made a hum and vibrated on different surfaces. I had the dealer look at the bike/tires to find the issue but they did not find the cause. The issue continued so I had another dealer look at it and they could not find the cause. After one year and 6000 miles a dealer said it felt like the tire was prematurely cupping. In the process of telling another guy there I needed another set of tires and anything but Michelin he tells me he loves his and there was a bad batch that made this noise and had a vibration! Sure enough on HD forums this apparently happened to a lot of owners! Why didn’t Michelin do more to get this issue out there and resolved?

Excellent grip
I have road through miles of blinding, torrential downpours and not once did I feel any slide or loss of traction. I ran 2's for a few years and decided to try these. Highly recommended.

Vibration
Front tire has a high frequency vibration between 55 and 65 mph. Only vibrates riding straight up as soon as you lean left or right it’s smooth. Below 55 mph and above 65 mph no vibrations.

I am a loyal Michelin product guy. I have their tires on my Motorhome, Genesis, Honda CRv, Jeep Wrangkler and now my 2016 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Limited.. I swapped out the Dunlop American Elite's I had on the bike, (with only 4k miles) and went with the Commander III's . I have a 4k mile trip coming up the end of the month(7/2022)and wanted the best tires on the market for this "bucket list" journey. I had heard great reviews on the silica compound tire that was advertised as Michelin's "Best of the best" and having their tires on everything else I drive I thought "why not"! I love the design and handling of the Commander III's but being 100% honest, I am replacing the front tire with only 300 miles on it. The vibration and "humming" from the tire is terrible. Between 25 and 45 MPH, when traveling in a straight line, the vibration is unbearable. If you corner or bring the tire off center, the vibration and hum go away. I had the Commander III's installed 4 days ago and am quiet disappointed. I spoke to the bike shop that I purchased the tires from and had them balances and mounted, and was told to contact Michelin direct with my concerns. I am calling their Customer Service tomorrow (6/27/22) and will follow this review with the outcome. I'm sure it's simply a flaw with the design in the front tire. I'm reading the exact same concerns in other comments posted. By the way, as of right now, the rear tire rides AMAZING!! I will not rate anything Michelin makes with less than 5 plus stars. I love their tires and hopefully will post another comment on how awesome their Customer Service was in helping me resolve this issue. "The OTHER Michelin Man" JW smith
DO NOT BUY
These are Trash. From the day they were installed, they buzzed on the center line. The compound is messed up and they balance out but then "flop" at highway speeds. The vibration makes my hands numb in about 10 minutes or less. I've spent countless hours at dealers and in my garage making sure everything else is right. It's the tires. DO NOT BUY THEM! The 4 different dealers I have worked with all say they have countless issues with them.

These are Phenomenal Tires!! Grip, and excellent wear! I've got almost 11,000 miles on mine!!
Commander 3 - Harley StreetGlide Special
Almost immediately I felt the vibration in the front end almost everyone on here is talking about. Had them installed right before Sturgis last year and didn't get even 2000 miles out of the front tire. Local HD dealer said it was cupped. Thought ok so I need to replace it. Bought another new one and within 200 miles same thing. Vibration going in straight line. Around corners or switching lanes is fine.

Humming and vibration
I purchased these for my 2017 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited. They seemed great at first but then the vibration and whining/humming began. Mine do it in a strait line between 50 and 70. I too thought it was the wheel bearings and then I started thinking transmission. I will see when I get new tires this week. I wish I could give a better rating but the noise and vibration is too much. These tires are only 1 year old.
