Review Summary

The tires offer good handling, traction, and long-lasting wear, especially in dry conditions. Many riders reported excellent mileage, with some getting over 20,000 miles. The tires were also noted for their stability and performance in wet weather. However, some customers experienced issues like wobbling, vibration, and premature wear, particularly with the front tire. A small number of riders reported tire failures, including blowouts and tread separation. Overall, the tires appear to be a solid all-around option, but the inconsistent performance and occasional durability problems suggest they may not be the perfect choice for all riders and conditions.

My go to

I run a shop in Northern California. I also ride the heck outta Harleys every day. I don't drive cars or trucks. I ride hot rod custom Harleys. 40k plus miles a year sometimes. The Commander 2 is my go too. The design is great. Holds up to the demands a high HP/TQ engine throws on it. It handles the power in the rain better than any other. I don't get the best mileage out of them. But none of the tires I've used on my bikes do for the mostpart( I ride like a wildman. So I'm hard on tires). I can't say enough about em. My new favorite combo is the Commander 3 rear. And Commander 2 front. Highly recommend these tires. The comfort, and performance is unmatched

Read a lot of reviews first

I purchased these tires because alot of forums had given them good reiews for wear. I find the tires to be good traction wise but found the front tire would cause a wobble on deceleration at 100kph to 80kph and again around 70kph to 50kph. this wobble occured when a lite touch on the bars or if you released the bars altogether. I was working with the dealer i purchased them from who contacted the manafacter with no results. (By the time we had did some testing and contacted them they had said there was to many miles on the tire, I had addressed the dealer within days of getting them installed with the issue} The back tire seemed to be fine and never felt any wobble from the back.

Great tire but wear out too soon

I am only getting 5-6k miles out of both my tires, which should be double that.

Bead seal air leak

Bead seal air leaks, front and back tire. It was professionally installed by Harley. I don’t recommend this tire unless you install a tube with it.
