Review Summary
The tires provide good grip and handling on both paved roads and light off-road conditions, with a balance between on-road and off-road capabilities. However, some users report the tires can be noisy, especially the rear tire, and have relatively short lifespan, particularly for heavier riders or more aggressive use. Overall, the tires offer solid performance and versatility for adventure-style motorcycles, though riders prioritizing a quiet ride or long tire life may want to consider other options.

Good, almost great
These came on my new 2020 BMW R1250GS. On the road they were excellent with good grip on the wet and dry. I did one track day on them, and multiple runs at the Tail of the Dragon. They were fine for gravel forest service roads, but I suspect they would struggle in mud. The mileage I got from the set was about 6,500 miles, very good but not great, 8,000 would have been awesome. The sides of the front wore out first, the back still had life. By biggest complaint is the front tire howled. In a straight line it was fine, but with the slightest lean angle it would start to howl. This is why I switched to the TKC 70 Rocks tires. I only got 6,000 miles from the rear, but no howling.

Great tires
I love the Anakee Adventure tires. There the best adventure tire i have had love them and will keep buying this tire for a long time.

Anakee adventure tire
These are stupendous in the wet, corner beautifully, handle dirt roads great and seem to wear very evenly. I’m on a Triumph Tiger Explorer, 2013. One star off because at highway speeds they howl a bit. If you do a lot of high speed motorway riding the noise becomes a major issue. I don’t so not a problem. I might consider a more road focused dual sport tire in future.
Thank you for your review, John Randolph. Happy to learn you are enjoying the MICHELIN® Anakee® Adventure tires!

ANNAKEE ADVENTURE
The Annakee Adventure more Dirt oriented than the Annakee III . It will take a little time to earn my trust on the twisty black top . The joined lugs are genius though . I expect the same longivity as the Annakee III Michelin does their research to deliver tires that keep the fun going . My summer riding is delayed due to a Brain Bleed so fingers crossed I get back in the saddle !! Put more wear on the Annakee Adventures ! Have some Adventures !!

R1200GSA after 12.000km
Came from Road 4 trail and I must say these tires dissapoint compared to Road 4. I primarely ride paved roads in all weather conditions and my riding style is hardy, sturdy. The tire is noisy, don't give me much confidence in corners and in damp/moisty conditions this tire likes stepping away much earlier. I find myself correcting and re-adjusting more frequently than the Road 4, The adventure feels a tad more nervous. Where it does really excel is in absolute wet conditions, as in plowing trough10cm of standing water. I switched back to Road 5 Trail and much happier now.

Strange profile
I have a 2019 BMW GSA 850. The profile for a 90-90/21 is extremely square you cannot safely lean the bike past 25 degrees lean angle, the front juststarts to scrub. The rear tire is wonderful! Much better in rain Meltzer Karoo Road or Enduro had them both.
Thanks Lle42 for your review!

Good tires but LOUD
The Anakee 3's are an ok tire. They handle well in the dry, lots of grip in the wet, ok for fire roads, but they are LOUD! Too loud. I almost too off the rear when I first bought it because of the noise. It did lessen with a little wear, but it is still a loud tire.

JBMW Adventure
Excellent tires, a little noisy when new, ok after some miles
Hi Jorge, you are correct, as with any new tire, we recommend a break-in period of 50-100 miles. Glad you are enjoying our tires!
