Review Summary
The tires provide good grip and handling on both paved roads and light off-road conditions, with a balance between on-road and off-road capabilities. However, some users report the tires can be noisy, especially the rear tire, and have relatively short lifespan, particularly for heavier riders or more aggressive use. Overall, the tires offer solid performance and versatility for adventure-style motorcycles, though riders prioritizing a quiet ride or long tire life may want to consider other options.

Rear tire extremely noisy! The worst I’ve had love the way they handle, but too noisy
Fred, we are sorry you are experiencing issues with your Anakee Adventure tires. Noise can have several causes. Once your bike is inspected by your dealer, you can always contact Michelin Consumer Care at 800-346-4098.

Great tires for my riding
This is my second set of Anakee Adventures. They work really well for the type of riding I do on my KTM 1290S. I get about 8,000 miles out of set, which is comparable to more street oriented tires. They are excellent in rain. The front wore very well with no cupping or weirdness. The front is a little noisy, but not that bad for the performance.

Best Overall Tire for My ADV Riding
I've run these on my BMW R1200GS Adventure a couple of times. They are probably the best overall tire. I ride with confidence everywhere except mud or very deep sand on these tires. If your ADV bike does more touring than off-road, these are perfect.

Great on road and light off road.
I’m on a 2022 1250gsa I’m on my second rear tire and they are great, my first rear tire lasted 20,000 miles and it still had tread but was flush with the wear bars so I replaced it for safety, front tire is still on haven’t replaced it yet and I’m now at 30,000 miles and it’s just now starting to get close to the wear bars, great tire all around. Air pressure is key I always make sure before I ride that my air pressure is exactly to the spec down to the tenths of psi this makes a huge difference in wear to the tire.

Great on and off road
Have ridden about 3000 miles on these. They handle the logging roads very well and also have confident grip on the roads, wet and dry. Way better than the original Michelins (90/10) that came with my R1250GSA

Decent Tire. Maybe not for bigger guys if you're looking for longevity.
I bought my BMW R1250GS Adventure with these tire and so far I think they're pretty good. I have just over 9K miles on them and the rear is toast. I hoped it would last longer. I started seeing wear around the 5k mile mark and it has quickly increased since. This is to the point that I have ridden less to prolong the tire life and only make short trips for now. My front tire probably has another 3-4k miles left on it. I'm a larger guy so that could play a role. Overall, they're comfortable and handle very well in substantial lean angles and off-road. I've never had these tires slip outside of practicing in cones [and running them over]. If they lasted 15k for me, then I'd absolutely get them again. They ARE noisy however. If you don't ride with earplugs then imagine a Jeep Wrangler with knobby tires on in front of you all day. That's what it's like ESPECIALLY when they're new and during any lean. You eventually get used to it.

Strandand
Noisy especially in turns drowning sound and 3 months in left me in osark mountains with 1/2 slit between treads on center of tread after driving on o fresh grated crushed stone road bummer
Tedav1, we're sorry to read you experienced this issue. We recommend taking the tire to your local retailer for it to be inspected.

Best BMW GS Tires
These type of tires have been on my bike for the last 6 years I’ve owned the bike. My BMW GS1200R has 63,000 miles on it and I would not use any other tire for this bike. I commute 100 miles round trip and I get any where from 12,000 to 15,000 miles a set of tires. These handle great in rain, slush and dry pavement.

Good grip and confidence inspiring
Good grip. Wear about average. Since I am not getting great mileage I’m not sure they are worth the premium price. They do give a lot of confidence when riding curvy roads.

Long lasting, good in rain or dry
Third set, I’ve been happy with the ride and longevity. I switch my tires probably earlier than necessary but 7000 miles of 99% street, and they are still serviceable. They seem to get noisy toward the end, especially thr front
