  • Rear tire, just feet out of the long patch of deep mud we went through
  • Front tire; you can tell the sipes are already rejecting the debris just feet out of the mud patch we rode through.

Miracle Tires

I've been using these tires for almost 5 years now- They are that good. I'm approaching 600,000 miles on two wheels this year and have worked at dealerships as well as owning my own shop. The sipes on these tires are unique- they really clean themselves out due to the opening angles molded in, and which don't "go away" as the tire wears. The compound does not require warming up and has no problems in wet or cool conditions (I ride year-round unless there is ice on the pavement). The profile is near-perfect, I am able to utilize the entire width of the tires and the grip on pavement is outstanding- I've been chased by sportbikes while riding two-up. I have been getting 11,000 miles out of the rears before they begin to show a flat spot; the fronts develop the characteristic 'wedge' shape at about the same time so they are well matched in use (I push the front end on my bikes, instead of hanging the rear out). Adding pictures of the rear tire right after riding through a patch of wet mud to show how the tires are already cleaning themselves out- amazing! Some reviews state they don't work well in sand, but few tires other than dedicated knobbies handle sand.

Good on dry roads but very noisy. They howl at 40mph!

I have these OEM tires on a 2018 R1200GS. They are terribly noisy and not good on dirt roads with gravel. Dry road performance is good and though they are squared off at 6000 miles they still ride ok when leaning into turns. The tread seems to look ok so far, but i will not be putting these on again.

Noisey on the Road and Slippery on Wet/Muddy Dirt Conditions

Went down hard when front tires slipped in mud. I would definitely not take these off road in muddy or wet dirt situations. In addition, the loud hum on these tires is forcing me to prematurely replace tires. I am tired of having to wear ear plugs for highway driving.
