super sport on bmw
Ive waited a month before I decided to give this review so it could be accurate as possible. Long eniough to to get a good feel for the new tire and not too long so I dont remember the feel of the old tires I use to have. I have 20 in. racing rims on my 5 series BMW and the larger rims decreased the ride quality. After extensive research I chose the Super Sports. Ride quality is a little better but not much of a difference. Tractions about the same. The major difference is the grip you feel in a turn. The 3000s I would feel a slight roll and the SUPER SPORTS handle the perfect. Also, road noise was reduced with the SUPER SPORTS.
Finally, a tire that lives up to its rep
Finally, a tire that lives up to the on-line reviews I have read. The previous tires on my 08' Mercedes E350 w/ sport suspension were extremely noisy and although they had plenty of tread I couldn't take the noise after 15K miles. The Pilot Super Sports are quiet and grip the road well. I can't comment yet on how much life I will get, but thus far I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. My Mercedes dealer recommended these tires initially.
excellent tires
Purchased Pilot Super sports about 500 miles ago for my Cayman. Replaced PS2s. Handling and braking is excellent, ride seems a little smother. But than again my old tires were 6 years old and rubber probably hardened up by now. Very happy with my selection.
Transformed my Porsche!
AMAZING TIRES!!!! Totally transformed my Cayman S. I bought the car used and it had come with Pzereos. No comparrison. These are quiet and provide the very best handling. Never been happier. Also very predicatable at the limit!
Budget Buster
If you have a budget these are not for you, I've never gotten more than 12K and most of my miles are simple highway. But if performance is your drive, they are fantastic.
Great tires
I love these tire on my SRT 8. I had slipping problems on my SuperCharged Challenger (630hp/590lb) at the track and certain "stoplight" duals. Now my traction is awesome. Import crowd with all of their stickers and coffee can mufflers are in for more terror on the street now. I never lost before, but now its two of more car lenghts instead of just one.
New Shoes on Acura RL
I put a set of Super Sports on my 05 Acura RL. I opted for the SS over A/S, because I wanted to see how the best tires worked on the car. These tires are going to spoil me and I'm afraid of getting any other tire, because it doesn't get any better than these. They are quite, handling is fantastic, and comfortable. You feel very reassured when you drive on these. I would recommend these tires to anyone. They are a little expensive, but well worth it. I am very satisfied.

These tires are just phenominal! I've always had issues with no traction in 1st or 2nd in my boosted 350z. Now I can go half throttle in 1st and full throttle in 2nd with these tires. I have no traction issue while makign 487rwhp/468trq. Great tires and I recommend these to every and anybody!
Highly recommened purchase
Fair weather driving only. The handling 4 sure,look of the tire is also a plus but this was one of the best upgrades I could have done to my 350Z. These are just an all around well designed tire. You can tell when taking high speed turns,the stopping and acceleration. Michelin is the best they put it all together in this tire. They make me want to get another set for my Z now. I hope Michelin never stops making this tire and if they do please put me on the contest list to win a set. Thank you very much Michelin for making this driver very happy on my purchase.
