Great Grip, junk construction and no warranty
Excellent grip. A friend has them on a GT500 and I decided to put them on my 911 Turbo. After one (not even full) track day the front tire started to delaminate and I could see the cords. Nothing like other cup 2 Rs at the track I’ve seen. Called and no warranty if used on the track. Don’t waste your money, can’t even get a full day out of them. $3k out the window.

18 laps delaminating
Fit the Cup 2 R tires on my Porsche GT4RS, took them out at oem pressure for a few laps to scrub and heat cycle, next day adjusted pressure and ran them, 18 laps and one started delaminating and the rest have a crazy ware for such a little time on track at a HPDE event, I’m not a pro driver or racing them and they are really bad looking for 18 laps and a big price tag.

Great tires but hard to service
I spec’s these tires on my Ferrari SF90 after having them on my 812GTS. They are great tires when used properly. Make sure they are properly warmed up before pushing them and I never drive in the rain. My only complaint is I’ve had 3 nail punctures in one year. My local tire dealerships won’t touch them because of tread depth. Below their limits of 3/32nds, even though they were 200 miles old! I told them this is how they are designed and my local Discount Tire called Michelin and we sat there for 25 minutes while the girl online supposedly went to measure tread depth. She told him all 3 grooves were over 1/4” and so he refused to service it. That was totally wrong. The center groove is visually less than that when new! My friend at BMW took care of it because he was familiar with these tires. You need to educate these tire stores, and your own employees, on serviceability of your product.

Buying $700 Cup 2 R Blind because CS can not tell buyers the Difference between MO1 / MO1A / MO2..!!
Michelin Cup 2 R. Amazing Tires but after contacting Michelin USA Nobody can exactly tell you What is the difference between the MO1 / MO1A / MO2 You expect Michelin customer service to tell you and to know but they just DONT
Max, we're sorry for the inconvenience and want you to be able to make an informed purchase. It seems you are inquiring about sizes 295/35-19 and 335/30-20 Cup 2 Rs. In these sizes MO1 = designed for the AMG Project One vehicle. MO1 A and MO2 are designed for the AMG Black Series. MO1 A is a 'soft' compound design with an AMG silhouette sidewall. MO2 is a 'hard' compound design with a colored Michelin motorsports logo sidewall. Should you have further questions, you are welcomed to contact us at 866-866-6605 8am-5pm EST Mon-Fri.

Completely Insane
Legitimately 0.5-1s per lap performance improvement compared to regular Cup 2, which are already unbelievable. As one should expect, this comes with big compromises - tire life is not great, and they are downright scary on wet roads and very prone to hydroplaning in standing water. I got 3 track days and ~3000mi of spirited road driving out of a set before I was down the wear bars. Worth it if you know what you're getting into and have a car that can actually leverage this tire.
