OUCH
I have a 2019 Subaru Outback (AWD) . It’s going to be 7 years old shortly and has 61,000 miles on it as I average <8,000 a year. I have limited knowledge of cars and tires. 2022 I went to the East Lansing Costco and bought all new tires. 2024 I had a tire repair of the valve as it was leaking. This last week the repair failed and they repaired it again. The very nice tire manager I need ALL new tires because there will be too much difference in the traction because of the miles now on the other tires. (I understand this) BUT in 2022, instead of giving me a new tire or tires they repaired that tire. The tires only had about 16,000 miles on them. My question is: Could they have just REPLACED ONLY that tire in 2022? ? WARANTY DOESNT HELP YOU OUT THAT MUCH AS I HAD TO TO REPLACE 4 TIRES INSTEAD OF JUST ONE COSTCO DID GIVE ME SOME DISCOUNTS BUT STILL

Top Notch Tires Out there
Defender & Defender 2 by Michelin are simply one of the best choices you can make out there. The comfort, the stability and traction are always great with those tires. I had Defender put on my Honda CRV back in 2022 and it still performs exceptionally well after four years of driving and bout 38K Miles. Few months ago I had new Micheli Defender 2 put on my wife's Nissan Altima and the tires do not dissapoint and are honestly the best & safest option out there on the market. I got both sets installed at Costco and we are very happy with them A++

Very loud tires don’t buy
I changed to defender 2 hoping for a quieter ride than the budget tires that came with my used Toyota Camry. However it is terribly noisy. Meaning about 72 decibels consistently on the highway. Starting at 35mph makes a wah wah sound at lower frequency and starts building up s as speed increases. Costco said there is nothing wrong with the tires and they are well balanced. Still a very noisy tire. Don’t get us noise is a concern.

Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall.
