I love Michelin Defender Tires
My all time favorite tires for my truck is Michelin tires. The Michelin Defender LTX M/S is by far the best quality tires of all time. They are the perfection of durability and I highly recommend these Michelin tires.

Perfect
I love them, this brand is well known for having excellent quality and for so many years having remained the best tires of all time. I have a company with 2 trucks and for 10 years I have only used Michelin tires, in their facilities they have the best customer service, they are fast and thorough with every detail. I put these Defenders on my Thoe, I love the stability it provides to my vehicle and the durability. I take a lot of family trips, and I am in all climates with my car, these tires are all I need, I know I will be safe with them. Excellent quality-price. Having Michelin tires will be your best decision. 100% recommended

Great tires!
Love the Michelin line of tires since they have always done well for me. These Defender tires are no exception- perfect combination of value and durability. Perfect for what my family requires in the rainy yucky seasons of Louisiana!

Very nice
These tires are so nice on my vehicle! They definitely feel luxury compared to the thin cheap tires I was driving before. They seem like they will be very durable long-term and I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for tires, as they seem perfect.

Good, but reduced mileage.
Seems like a good tire but reduced mileage. Don’t notice a performance difference from the original Bridgestones. Dropped one to two miles per gallon.
JDR, thanks for taking the time to submit a review. New tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires. As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases. Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve.

Great tires but slightly under predecessor
I purchased these tires after 6 years and 30k miles on my Michelin Defender LTX M/S. I was a little leery with the UTQG Traction rating dropping to B from the previous A but with tread life listed similarly and great previous performance, I gave them a shot. I've driven 2,500 miles before posting the review. The M/S2 are fantastic on dry pavement and dissipate water very well. Unfortunately, around 35 F they become noticeably harder and break free much easier on cold or wet pavement compared to the previous M/S. With that, my initial assumption is that they have worse performance but herein lies the paradox. While they don't seem great getting moving and break free easy on acceleration, they seem hold true and stop well once in motion. Snow performance is similar to the aforementioned, but again cornering is fairly steady until acceleration is applied. The truck will still go where it's intended, but with considerably more wheel spin than the previous M/S in 2H. MPG appears to be comparable between the 113T SL M/S and 117T XL M/S2. Both ride quiet and have good feel when braking. They have a good look but not overly aggressive and don't pick up too many rocks. I would 100% recommend these for those who rarely experience snow or cold but would probably stick to swapping these out for Michelin Ice X for the cooler or snow filled months or plan to use full time AWD and the possibility of reduced tread life due to the additional slipping.

Best tire ever!
Great tire provides an excellent ride in all conditions.

Great Tires!
Just installed on my 2022 Ram 1500 Limited. Tires are just amazing! Super quiet, great grip, and just an overall great ride.

Michelin Defenders are the superior choice for your light duty truck, Take care of your tires, and they will take care of you!
Vehicle: 2018 Sierra 1500 All Terrain Tire Size: 275/55R-20 These are by far the best tires I have ever purchased. Ride comfort, low road noise, longevity, durability, climate grip, and so much more. The first set of Michelin Defender LTS M/S2 tires I purchased for my truck on Nov. 15 2019, the odometer was at 70,953 miles. The tires were religiously rotated every 7,500 miles and the air pressure checked and maintained every month. Today, Nov. 17, 2023, I purchased my second set of Michelin Defender LTS M/S2 tires for my truck and my odometer reads 209,777 miles. That's an incredible 138,824 miles on the first set. Incredible! I put a lot of miles on my truck throughout the year, and these Michelins are worth every penny.
Checkmate31, thanks so much for taking the time to submit a review. Incredible mileage!
