Enduro

Enduro takes place in a natural setting around loops of about 50 miles.
It is one of the three main off-road motorcycle events, along with Motocross and Trial.

Each stage consists of timed trials called "time cards", and circuits where riders have to keep up an average speed. Time cards take place on three types of terrain:

  • Lines: running along lines drawn into pathways
  • Banners: take place on a course marked off with banner
  • 'Extremes' courses, a combination of different and highly technical challenges.
In this event, Endurance riders cover different terrains: sand, mud, roadway, stones. Endurance competitors therefore need a tire that can adapt perfectly to different driving conditions. That's why Michelin developed a versatile range meeting their needs and crowned with 28 World Champion titles since 2000.
